This made me cry too! I actually passed by Whoopi on a NYC street years ago, I was about to say hi to Whoopi when I saw her, but she just looked at me, gave me a half smile and she just kept on walking. So I just turned around and watched as she walked away and thought to myself, "hmmm not very friendly". She turned around and said to me as I started to walk away, "hey!" and I turned around and she said, "hi!" I raised my hand as if making a wave gesture and we both then turned around and went about our business. I then had the opportunity to see both these cool gals when I went to THE VIEW and Sherri was on The VIEW.
