I cried when I first saw Kirk’s documentary. My heart went to him when his Mother refused to tell the truth!❤

My daughter, husband, and I were at a music camp for a week that she attended. She made a friend that she hung out with that week. He was adorable, so very kind and respectful. Loved that kid! This was maybe 5 years ago? At the end of the week.... he told her his daddy is Kirk Franklin!😮 He's the youngest...he was a VERY good representative of his parents!! Great young man!

I have loved Kirk since I was 13 or 14 yrs old. I wanted to be the female version of him 😂 I know his story well and even though I wasn't adopted, I know what it is to not have a father around and not really be or feel loved by the one who helped bring u into this world. All the insecurities he felt and still feels, I felt and feel too. And I am now in my mid-forties. I pray that he gets the healing he needs and allows his biological father to have a place in his life. I pray he forgives his biological mother and the wounds she caused are healed. But remember, just because we forgive doesn't mean we have to have a relationship with the one who hurt us. Real talk. 💯 Praying for u @Kirk Franklin 🙏🏻 Love u my big little brotha 💜

I'm so grateful for Kirk and thank you Sherri for having him on your show. Kirk's music helped me through some hard times. When I saw him at Brooklyns king's theater he made it his business to stop take photos and hug everyone who wanted to see him. He did a full 3 hour show with all the energy he has in his videos and then when I finally got to say hi get my hug and take my photo with him it was after midnight. He was so gracious and just full of love and compassion. I just love him. Kirk I'm glad you got to meet and love on your biological. I pray you get back to your son you both need one another.

I have been struggling with the exact same acceptance issue my whole life..and it has its roots in the exact demographic as Kirk.. Riverside drive,ft worth,tx..I have family that attended o.d.wyatt...and since 1977.. I have battles with the suicide demons..it's not something I have told anyone nor have I ever posted about it.. listening to music is and has been my therapy and I have followed and supported my Brother when it was "the family"..and on my word as a man,..no matter what I read or heard...I never judged or thought ANYTHING cross about my Brother,bcz I can relate to being that Lil boy hurting and for that hurt to come from the one person.."The ONE"..I appreciate you my brother and thanks for making life saving music 🙏🎶💙
