Jersey city is one of the most beautiful cities in New Jersey. unfortunately there is always something, right? I present to you "greenville" a low class area of this city, known as one of the most dangerous places to be, specially at night. as always, you have the last opinion.
please comment,
and if you agree at least just a little tiny bit. I invite you to subscribe and like this video!
thanks!!

I love how vibrant and safe these bigger cities are on the east coast. The buildings and the houses are just beautiful. I'm from Jackson Mississippi and we are averaging 130-150 homicides a year with a population of only 150k people 😢. They had to send in a outside law enforcement agency to get the murders down because our police force is so small 😢 I would love to live in Jersey City, looks cool!!

wow i'm sorry. Jersey city has double the population and only has 15 homicides a year. Greenville, though, is still pretty dangerous, accounting for most of JC's crimes as well as the west side near Newark. Still the worst parts of Jersey city are not actually that bad.

@@willyG503 I had a house break in from a crazed woman druggie, it was on the local news about it. She was violent and knocked down a door, broke windows and beat up my spouse. There was a period of a lot of car thefts. It would happen constantly. One drive by shooting in front of the house. Very noisy to live on the street and most people who came into the area are from NY or other Countries and don't really associate outside their circle. Many neighbors who came and went were complainers and rude. Not the same place you would remember. To me Jersey City back in the 50's and 60's were the most notable good years but after that I saw the rapid decline. You have to have a lot of money to live in ideal circumstances. For older people you won't survive the care facilities nursing homes, many stories to tell on that.

Believe it or not, MLK Blvd aka Jackson Ave is much safer now than 15-20 years ago. In the 90s early 2000s, it was different. Even the cops stayed clear of the area unless they rolled in together. Same goes for all the other parts of JC. Especially before they knocked down all of the towers to most of the projects through out the city. Curry Woods with all the towers up was running Greenville so the city was way different back then lol. The beautiful downtown area we know today was also wild.

It doesn’t look a half as bad as it’s made out to be, though those two-family frame houses aren’t the best housing stock. It looks like an unremarkable working class neighborhood. It’s a certainly far cry from Camden or even Irvington. Of course, a rainy day isn’t the same as a warm evening, where you’d likely see more of the local riff raff hanging out. As far as violent crime is concerned, a lot of it is apparently gang warfare, score settling, etc.

1st of all why call this a “dangerous neighborhood?” Instead how about a drive “around a neighborhood”. As someone who grew up in Jersey City, and sold real estate there for almost 20 years this area did and may still have more crime, but it also is a neighborhood with hard working people who want what everyone wants. Once I drove a white person from Morris county to look at a building he immediately says this is a windows up neighborhood. I’m a white person by the way. Next video show the Danger you title this vid as. Nice drive around

Hi there thanks for watching. in response to your comment, I think it's a dangerous neighborhood because everytime I drive by I see a lot of guys with suspicious looks on every corner, and wearing ski masks no matter the weather. I understand your opinion and respect it. But if it was a safe neighborhood there wouldn't be cops on every other corner patrolling the area. Just saying! Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I think of the area.

It is dangerous. Would you be comfortable walking along MLK at night as a woman? I know you need to be careful wherever you go, but some places you can clearly tell are more sketchy than others. Nobody will say hoods dont have hard working people. That is the mass majority of any community. It's the gangs and drug deals that ruin what could be a nice place, for everyone else. Police stay posted up around these parts because they know whats going down. I think in the future these places will get better but for now, I'd be rolling my windows up too, and I'm black. I don't wanna deal with any nonsense.
