City of David

2 жыл бұрын

More than two thousand years ago, hundreds of thousands of Jews packed the streets of Jerusalem, flocking to the Second Temple during the holidays of Passover, Shavuot & Sukkot.
They stopped to buy water and treats from vendors, bought souvenirs home to their families and joined their Jewish brothers and sisters in an unforgettable spirtual and cultural experience.
1,952 years later, we're partnering with The Ministry of Foreign Affairs to give you an inside look at the never before seen Pilgrimage Road where our ancestors walked.
Ahead of Jerusalem Day (which is taking place on Sunday) we are proud to show you another layer of Jerusalem, the city which is our past, our present and our future.

This is awesome. Islam borrowed from Jewish practices: the circling of the... seven times (7x,) and praying facing Jerusalem, they used to pray facing Jerusalem until Allah moved to Mecca. Food for thought right there.

I stood at the bottom of those steps in February 2022. I walked down into the pool of Siloam, and then began the climb up the steps, but went only a few steps when I learned I could go no further. Seeing this wonderful tour beyond the locked door helped me to visualize not only what was behind the door, but just the sheer volume of effort being done to recover this remarkable journey made by thousands of Jews each year nearly 2000 years ago. When I saw the washed wiped upon the arm, my eyes welled up. Truly powerful! Would love to see this released in 4k or 1080p.

Churchianity is lost, "God" is a deity of fortune and so, as you can see on a dollar bill that says, "In God We Trust," it could be saying, "In Fortune We Trust." The most favorable King James Bible was authored by Richard Bancroft, a Catholic and Archbishop of Canterbury, London, England in the 16th century in honor of King James the first. And so, Jesus and God are an invention of the Europeans.

The prefix Yah is the short form of Yahweh, the Heavenly Father's Name as found in HalleluYah and in names of Biblical personalities. Thus, the Savior's Name begins with the prefix "Yah," that begins with Yahweh's Name as revealed in Psalm 68:4: "Sing unto Elohim, sing praises to His Name: that rides upon the heavens by His Name: extol Him by His Name, [Yah], and rejoice before Him." "Shua," the last part of the Savior's Name, carries the primary meaning of "Salvation." Thus, Yahshua means "the Salvation of Yah." When Israel cross over the Red Sea, Moses sang a song of thanks to Yahweh in Exodus 15. The Saving Name appears in verse 2, "Yah is become my Salvation," which is to be Yahshua! The following reasons clearly show why the name Jesus could never have been the Savior's Name: • There is no letter J or equivalent in Hebrew. • There is no letter J or equivalent in Greek. • There was no letter J in English until about 500 years ago. • Jesus an etymological hybrid from Greek and Latin, has no inherent meaning in Greek or Latin, not to mention Hebrew or English. • Yowceph in Hebrew and a Jew was told by the angel Gav'riel that Miriam a Jewish, would give birth to One who would save His people Israel from their sins" --- Matthew 1:21. Only the Hebrew Name "Yahshua" means, "Salvation of Yah" means "Salvation of Yah." He Himself said that He is come in His Father's Name and you receive Me not" --- John 5: 43. • Miriam a Jewish was told the same thing as Yowceph was" -- Luke 1:31. • Would a celestial being announce the coming Savior to Jews who spoke Hebrew (or Aramaic), proclaiming a Romanized, Grecianized name beginning with the letter J that did not exist, but would originate in a European tongue 1, 500 years later? Remember that it was to Israel, a semitic people who spoke Hebrew, that His Saving Name was first revealed. • Would HEBREW parents give their baby a hydridized GREEK name devoid of any meaning --- especially such an important name that would identity the very Savior of the world?

We at the Torah follows the kosher dietary law. Even Science Supports Yahweh's Dietary Law: There was an article published in the Science of medicine, published by Dr. Macth PhD in University of John Hopkins University of Medicine, entitled "An Experimental Appreciation of Leviticus 10 and Deuteronomy 28," and he did a basic test at the lab and the results were that every single animal that Yahweh forbade was found to be toxic and the list of animals in Yahweh's Dietary Law that were allowed were found to be non-toxic. There's a 100 percent correlation between the list of animals in Yahweh's Dietary Law and scientific study.

@@AtomicPunx All religions generally are known by the one they give homage to. Anciently, the god the Akkadians was Marduk, the god of the Greeks was Zeus, the god of the Romans was Jupiter, the god of the Moabites was Ba'Al-peor, the god of the Hebrews was....God??? The Sacred Name is "Y" Proofs of the Divine Name Yahweh: Numerous secular as well as religious scholars attest that Yahweh is the Correct original Name of the Heavenly Father's Name. Following the listing, taken right from the reference works and materials available in nearly every public library: • The New American Encyclopedia: "Yahweh', a Name of God of Israel now widely regarded as the Hebrew Tetragrammaton YHWH." • The Encyclopedia Britttanica: ".... the letters YHWH used in the original Hebrew Bible to represent the name of God of Israel." • Oxford Cyclopedia Concordance: "Yahweh' --- the Name revealed to Moses at Horeb, its real pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton YHWH." • The Encyclopedia Britttanica: ".... the letters YHWH used in the original Hebrew Bible to represent the name of God of Israel." • Oxford Cyclopedia Concordance: "Yahweh --- the Name revealed to Moses at Horeb. Its pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton YHWH." • Webster's New World Dictionary: "YHWH, a Tetragrammaton of the Divine Name Yahweh, regarded as by the Jews too Sacred to be uttered, a of God of the Old Testament Hebrew." • A History of Christianity, Kenneth Copeland Latourette (p. 11): Israel regarded their own Elohim, a name mistakenly put into English a Jehovah, as God of the universe, the Maker and ruler of heaven and earth. Other people had their gods, but Yahweh was regarded by these monotheist as far more powerful than they." • Encyclopedia Britttanica (Micropedia, Volume 10): "Yahweh ---- the Heavenly Father's Name of the Israelites...the Masoretes, Jewish biblical of the Middle Ages, replaced the vowel signs of Adonai for Elohim. Early Christian writers, such as Clement of Alexandria in the 2nd century had used the form of Yahweh, thus this pronunciation was never lost. Greek transcription also indicated YHWH should be pronounced Yahweh." • Jewish Biblical Encyclopedia: "Rabbinic Literature --- The Name above all others that was looked upon as the Name, the personal Name of God of Israel was Yahweh." • New Standard Dictionary: "Properly Yahweh...the form of Jehovah is impossible according to strict principles of Hebrew vocalization." • Review and Herald, December 17, 1971: "Yahweh is the correct name that identifies the God of the Hebrews. Where the Philistines worshipped Dagon; the Egyptians Amon; the Ammonites Milcom; the Hebrews worshipped Yahweh. The title 'god'(Elohim) is applied to false deities in the Scriptures as well as to Yahweh, hence is not a term by which one can distinguish from the others. @@AtomicPunx Here's a Proof about the Savior Yahshua in Hebrew: David Bivin notes that Yahshua like His contemporaries spoke Hebrew, Bivin the director for the Jerusalem School for the Study of Gospels also believes that the original account of Yahshua's life was written in Hebrew, not Greek of Aramaic. In addition he and his Jerusalem scholars agree that by considering the Evangels Hebraic, many textual difficulties are cleared up strongly suggesting that the Evangels were first written in Hebrew.

As some of the disciples were remarking how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and consecrated gifts, He said, "As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one will be thrown down." Just amazing. What else can I say? Imagine who walked that way, so long ago, but after all the time and everything happening, we can walk a short part of that same way! 3 thousand and more years, but we aren't so far apart

I wish I could walk where The lord Jesus christ yeshua messiah and his disciples were actually standing and pools and waters and even Jordan river and places where John the Baptist first did baptism for remission of sins, he said be baptized in the name of the Lord and repent cause the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Just so much amazing history here.

This is one of my favorite places to visit in Israel. It's an exciting discovery. I was blessed to run in to one of the archeologist who let me and my traveling companions in to the closed-to-the-public sections. It was an AMAZING tour he gave us.

I wish that guy would lead me aground with such enthusiasm. I enjoyed learning what this gentleman had to say... QUESTION: Could Jesus Christ been able to walk through there? Could you imagine that your walking on steps that Jesus also walked on. Awesome...

Went to Israel twice and supposed to go back 2020 but the pandemic is on the way to corrupted our trips so we need to dropped everything. Can't go back yet till Canada drop all the restrictions especially to all unvaccinated travelers like us who loved the Promised Land. Amazingly incredibly it made the Bible alive. Shalom Salaam Israel. Thank you for the video.

12But You, O LORD, sit enthroned forever; Your renown endures to all generations. 13You will rise up and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show her favor- the appointed time has come. 14For Your servants delight in her stones and take pity on her dust. 15So the nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth will fear Your glory. 16For the LORD will rebuild Zion; He has appeared in His glory. 17He will turn toward the prayer of the destitute; He will not despise their prayer. -Psalm 102

Churchianity is lost. God is a deity of fortune and so, as you can see on a dollar bill that says, "In God We Trust, it could be saying, "In Fortune We Trust. The most favorable King James Bible was authored by Richard Bancroft, a Catholic and Archbishop of Canterbury, London, England in the 16th century in honor of King James the first. And so, Jesus and God are an invention of the Europeans. At Brown, Driver's and Brigg's Hebrew Lexicon entry for the "Lord," means "Ba'Al," aka Shawtawn in Hebrew and aka Satan in English. And so, enjoy saying that word Lord-God.
