There are musicians, then artists. Michael is in the broken mold of Hendrix, F. Mercury, Art Tatum, James Brown you can't duplicate or "get close" to the technical or artistic ability. Just Once In A Lifetime. Incredible.

Even his backup licks are hot fire.

seriously tho.. some of the most rerun sections of this video for me.. and I have watched it 50 timeslol no really. Is the part where he's backing up Nathan, never seen anything like it. Amazing to me the level Mr. Cleveland operates from. Plus Nathan is frakkng amazing

I got to meet Michael at a concert once... he was backstage, trading knives, as he is a collector. I forget which band he was playing with... that was about 30 yrs. ago. I think he was all of about.. 8 at the time.

While Michael is always absolutely always amazing, the mandolin player was also awesome and deserves a lot of props. An album of these two guys together would be a must-buy from me...

I believe that's Nathan Livers. He's Michael Cleveland's mandolin player for flamekeeper

This is so amazing, I almost forget to breathe while watching! Notice how the tip of his bow is too fast for the camera! It looks almost glitchy. Amazing!!

5:20 call the fire dept, Michael just set fire to that fiddle and melted that bow. The greatest disabled fiddle player of all time? No. The greatest fiddle player of all time. Nathan is well on his way to becoming the mandolin GOAT as well!

Michael plays that fiddle amazingly hard and yet I hardly ever see him break any strings or bow hair !!! Truly awesome fiddler. Saw him in concert about 20 yrs ago in the Wirral Community Centre UK. I was spellbound then and not recovered since 🎶🎻🎶🎻🎶🎻🤠

The greatest disabled fiddle player of all time? No. The greatest fiddle player of all time. If Michael doesn’t motivate you to do what you love and do it the best you can, youre not trying.

I think he may be the greatest player of any stringed instrument. I'm more familiar with guitar, but he tops any guitar player I have ever heard in terms of lick tastiness, phrasing, aggression and raw speed. I'm a huge fan of SRV and Dimebag, 2 very different players that I love for different reasons, he combines what I love about both of them but plays fiddle.
