so the original version is bad?? I m confused people are saying this. If this song start in far corner from Jerusalem and The creator of this song saying he doesn't know why those word came to him and him and the singer decided to sing it that mean the is a reason, for me God as them to sing it for a reason and the result of that is, it took over the whole world. it was song in different language and I m sure there is a reason and a big meaning to it. beacuse just look at the meaning of the song and you will understand.

Yes it's a song about a Souh African gangster movie (JERUSALEMA also see TSOTSI that is more than 100% true and has NOTHING to do with Jerusalem ..the Tsotsi's and gangsters the 26, 27, 28 and so forth believe that God protects them in their criminal activities..some resort to Sangoma's or witchdoctors before they do a Cash in transit Heist and shoot drivers ect or Farm murder/rape kids n more torturing them babies boiling oil ect (Yahoo 'Plaasmoorde' if you dare. Very much so. Hardly befitting to sing n dance in the midst of life consuming covid pandemic. A song in the language of a little known tribe i.e. Zulu , of a little nation right at the southern tip of Africa. Reaching the entire globe even the remotest habitations.
