Anyone else who is speechless or has goosebumps?

The only reason I am going to study at stellenbosch in the next two years or so is because I want to be part of this choir. It would be a dream come true😂❤️🙏.

Listening to this stunning choir gives me hope for a bright future in South Africa. When studying music at the University of Cape Town I sang for the Cape Town Youth Choir and met this choir at the choir Olympics in Austria. I was very impressed from that day on. Both choirs took some very vital victories that year. Great to see that people are still sing back home

What a Joy to find this through the power of the internet. Some seventy years ago, I was introduced to Afrikaner music, through the songs of Marais and Maria. Finding The Stellenbosch Choir while searching for more of their music has been a true blessing. A youngster from a small town in Pennsylvania found out that there is a whole world of music waiting to be sung and heard. A student from Lydenburg was in the choir but I can't see her. I was not expecting to cry at 22h35 on a Monday evening before turning off the light. Magnificent. Reminds me of my days in the Potchefstroom University Choir twenty years + ago under Prof Awie Van Wyk.

Now it’s time for Andre van der Merwe to arrange an equally stunning choral version of the most beautiful love song on earth; the Swahili love song, Malaika. Only this arranger and choir could do something really special with it. They have sung beautifully in Swahili with their rendition of Baba Yetu.

Absolutely wonderful! I come from Ireland and many people love Ireland for it's green fields and nature. I would love to invite this choir to Ireland, perhaps on St. Patrick's day, spread their sound and put Ireland on it's head. I am sure the Irish would join in. The sound of Africa is within us all.

Just when you think things cant get any better, this is just outstanding brilliant fantastic arrangement voices melting together black white and every colour inbetween makes me proud to be human, guys you have done just brilliant stellenbosch should glowing with pride, who needs instruments when you have voices like these, your voices are instruments with no limits thank you, voices together as one !
