JESIP

6 жыл бұрын

JESIP aims to ensure that the blue light services are trained and exercised to work together as effectively as possible at all levels of command in response to incidents so that as many lives as possible can be saved.
This new 16-minute training video shows how the response to an incident can be coordinated from the moment the call is received in a control room, through to responders arriving.
It focuses on delivering a coordinated multi-agency response through the application of JESIP, with each stage clearly shown.
The video also explains how such incidents can be effectively debriefed to identify any lessons and notable practice. This can then be shared on the Joint Organisational Learning platform, JOL Online - a database used to capture any learning that could improve multi-agency working.

probably a great video but couldn't help but be distracted by the utter lack of diversity... commanders = old white men, a handful of white women are allowed but only they make the mistakes...

It’s probably better they hire people who are in charge of resolving a life or death incident on their training and experience than the colour of their skin

I think the point she is trying to make is that POC are not given the same opportunities within these emergency services to work in roles such as an incident commander. In fact, in London Ambulance Service BAME staff only make up 11% of the total service yet they respond to the most diverse population within the UK. I find it hard to believe your ignorant mind can wrap your head around the injustices of ethnic minorities when you yourself have never been subjected to discrimination based on the color of your skin. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

I can tell you didn’t listen in University lecturers, too busy looking at a persons skin than listening to what they were saying 🤦🏽‍♂️💀💀 funnily enough that’s exactly what racism is.
