7:50 CGB could have played Portal to Phyrexia, because One with the Multiverse says "You may *play lands* and cast spells from the top of your library, once on your turn you may *cast a spell* from your hand or the top of your library without paying its mana cost" so he had played a land, but not cast his free spell.

@7:50 didn't have to wait until next turn. you hadn't played a spell for free yet, the Portal was lit up to have been played from the top of your library.

Love the personalized shout-outs. A small break in the middle of the video that's personalized towards whomever is being shouted out - miles above most other creators on that front. The fact it's new every time means I still get to enjoy new content even though it's not gameplay.

At 11:05 you could've played the land from the top of the deck to see what's beneath before choosing to play mending, I believe

In all the decades of watching this sort of content, one thing remains constant. The fans who don't realise just how much more difficult it makes playing when you have to talk about it all into a microphone and entertain others at the same time as trying to play at any sort of genuinely competitive lvl.

You need to put more reanimator targets in the deck imo. The new phyrexian wurm that has ward equal to its power in damage has a nice synergy with invoke justice since it becomes an 11/7 with menace, lifelink and ward - pay 11 life. The deck as it is feels very low to the ground with just dogs and goblins to close the games.

I'd like to see a spirit sisters call deck with a bunch of the new big enchantments/artifacts

Touch of the spirit realm > soul partition. Can channel it and exile portal on their turn, get the sac trigger again at end step and then on your turn get the reanimation.

This is a very cool deck and a refreshing way to get into the new standard meta with an original and different deck. And it's lovely to see CGB having so much fun :) Cheers.

i feel like between your 2 different reanimation spells and phyrexian portal this deck really wants a big creature to reanimate. maybe you could even run cityscape leveler as a payoff for the omniscience or a use for the powerstones you're making

Great deck, have been loving playing it. Added a few one-offs including All-seeing arbiter, Cityscape leveler, and Phyrexian fleshgorger that help against decks that don't run a lot of creatures or get the jump on you early. They also all work with Kiki-Jiki and two are artifacts.

First thing I went for is Boros portal reanimate. I have a couple of sanctuary wardens and a cityscape leveler in case playing against a deck with few/no creatures for the portal to hit

CGB misses lethal so often because he's so singularly focused on complete dominance of the board. Makes it entertaining

I've been running a very similar deck but with Tameshi, Reality Architect to grab back cheap mill and card draw stuff to get to my portals. You can cast instant and sorceries from your graveyard via one of the new sagas (which also mills you) and Prototype creatures give early board presence then turn into targets for Tameshi and the Portals.

Killing your (their?) Naturalist with Eiganjo is that Mythic diff baby, also hilarious.

I’m currently uploading a Mardu list that dips into the same synergies. Your version is solid but i also feel like if they stop your portal, you don’t have any other way to win the game. Wish there were more things in this list to play off the Multiverse that impact the board state in a significant way.

Chaotic Transformation and Spirit Sister's Call make for some fun shenanigans that operate on a similar level to this deck. Probably not as consistent but it does some silly things.

This deck gets absolutely WRECKED by farewell. Learned that the hard way. Haha

Elestrals looks pretty cool and I've watched enough of aDrive's content to know that he's very capable and talented, so I have high hopes for the game. I plan on doing some more research, and if I like what I see, I think I'll make a pledge!

9:20 i think the answer was to ottawara your portal instead of the borrowed time, because then you don't have to worry about them recasting it and you can recast your portal for free

Is there a way to copy the deck list in moxfield to Arena?

I've been trying this deck out. It's solid but it's prone to durdling - e.g. do nothing draws. I had one match against a Naya reanimator deck where i had a grip full of reanimation spells and nothing in the yard. Luckily they durdled too so I just stopped playing anything until I could discard PtP because of hand size. Additionally, it's also pretty weak to heavy control decks as they have little to fetch with portal. I'm finding adding 3 of combat thresher to be a solid inclusion. 1) it cantrips which is super important. I've been stuck in many matches needing to draw but having 0 cards in hand with the only creature to pull with PtP being Raffine's informant. Against any discard focused plainswalkers, you can just lose 2) it eats early removal and pairs well against a lot of aggro 3) as it has double strike, whether it is a 1/1 or 3/3 it pairs incredibly well with invoke justice & reflection of kiki-jiki plus you get that free card draw too from the token. It's also a solid to fetch with Portal to Phyrexia as a recurring win con when facing heavy control/low creature count decks 4) It's a body on the board against heavy control/combo To add the 3 Combat thresher, I cut: -1 Faithful mending (now 3 copies) -1 Depopulate (now 3 copies) -1 One with the multiverse (now 3 copies) It may be worth cutting a few more of the end combo to bring in more cantrip aggro traders (e.g. Inspiring Overseer/spirited Companion) but I find it's now a lot more consistent and has better early pressure

I found the answer to P-Portal! Have NO creatures to get blown up. And cheep counters + Fairwell to Control the board. Shegeki recyles the removal and the opponent Witnesses The Future of their inevitable defeat.

I’ve not touched a deck yet and seem to be moving on up like the Jeffersons. And portal I see getting the Ban Hammer.

In the next release of a set there will be: Uncrapped teachers! Sound good :P

Sorry it's long but I hope it's worth the read. I must say I do like the sponsored adds and the cheeky plug. Something I've been noticing with a lot of the videos I watch but they are all just eh no personality to them. Like they are literally there to waste time. The sponsored adds and cheeky plugs always add they bit of dept to the video... they are always interesting and all of the paetron plugs are unique and cool and make me want to become a paetron member for my own shout out. And the adds from Cool Stuff Inc are awesome especially the dragon rider play mat add. I really wish I could get my own. (Are they gonna possibly be available again in the future?) I also wann say, you are an awesome KZfaq/person/mage. I've been watching a while now... I miss mono red being in meta because I do miss the "this is mono red" song. (I promise that's the only reason.) I love the way your videos are and how they've grown. I think it's awesome I've been on the journey with you.

so anyway my first game tryting this got a turn 4 one with the multiverse and they scooped edit: second game almost milled myself out, 4 one with the multiverse and 4 portal to phyrexia on board against enchantments, got the win
