FULL VIDEO: • On Cheating, Guilt, Ju... Sunday, Nov 19, Jesse asks a first-time Church visitor if he forgave his mother. You must forgive your mother and father to be at peace, and get back to your original self. He notices himself getting angry with her. He asks how to forgive? Jesse urges him to get to know himself. You'll see you're no good. "Ask God to help you see yourself." But don't listen to the thoughts from Satan in your head, which are lies. Practice silent prayer ( / be-still-and-know . His father is not alive. How do you connect with your father? You'll see how to forgive once you see yourself and forgive your mother. Nothing else matters. He asks if he tells her he forgives her, or thinks he forgave her, will it make it true? No. Fear of facing her means you have not forgiven her. Once you forgive, the anger is gone. rebuildingthema...

I've never heard of 'forgiving your mother' until listening to Jesse. But it's so profound.. I realize almost everyone I know has some sort of resentment towards their mother, whether they're bad moms or just the natural way of child becoming an adult and losing our mothers that are replaced with flawed, regular individuals. And that loss is very real and I remember when it happened for me. I still hold anger. I hope I'll be able to forgive my mama soon so I can live freely. Thank you, Jesse.

I forgave my mom. She needed to move out of her apartment and she started living with me. It's a different dynamic since she lives with me and I'm an actual adult now. I love her. Now, I'm working on forgiving my past self.

@@bobbybigsbee3075 well I'm glad she did, quarantine would be lonely without her. I told my mama about all of this. She understands, she never forgave her mama. I tell her exactly what I think without the guilt. I'll tell her if I think she's being a bad mama or openly blame her for things. I watched my mama and other bit their tongue around their moms for respect. I love my mom and I'm never going to hold back because you just end up resenting them. I suggest talking to y'all's mom's about this idea of forgiving your mom and the best way to do it is to be open and honest.

To answer that first question how do you see your inside yourself. The best answer I can give is when the devil is Tugging and you reject him more and more then the Lord starts giving your mind body and soul peace. That’s when I knew the Lord was in me. He was in my mind, my body, and my soul just like I asked of him. I just felt it and I knew it I didn’t have the doubt it any longer. ❤️

Thank you Jesse. For the first time in my life i see where all my aggressiveness en fears come from. It never made sense to me, cause i always feel regret when those feelings arise. For the first time i see it for what it is and found de courage to go speak to my mom. I wrote her a message after years and years and the next step is to face her. I already feel so much lighter. Never knew the burden of resentment was giving me so much pressur. Time to really face the forgiveness i feel towards her. P.S. the silent prayer helped me to clear a lot of things.

@woozie___
@woozie___ Жыл бұрын
You shouldn't have any expectations of them to set you up for that disappointment. You shouldn't have expectations of *anybody* for that matter, it's not fair to them, just cause they don't do what YOU think they should do. You don't have the right to say they should or shouldn't do something. If they act crazy just let them act crazy, don't react to it (which is probably all they want)

Without a dad around there can be an orphan spirit. Now what we don’t get about forgiveness the offense was not onto us but the lord our God we are to intercede that the father forgive by name of the one offending but problem is we take the offense and begins to pass judgement for the kingdom of darkness. True forgiveness is us asking the father to forgive we are Christ ambassadors.

I do not agree with the advice “ have no reaction to your mother”. There needs to be a dialogue of why the disconnect occurred in the first place. The young man speaking doesn’t realize his mother is unaware of his hatred towards her. Perhaps his mother did her best. Perhaps not. Idk. However, healing on both parts starts with a conversation and action and reaction. Emotions are key. I pray this young man found peace with his mom. In Jesus name!
