Примерно тем же самым я занимаюсь уже минимум полгода. Надо сказать, Диана Анкудинова повлияла на моё восприятие популярной музыки больше, чем какой-либо другой, даже самый выдающийся артист. Слишком яркий голос, слишком выпуклый, слишком неожиданный, слишком весомый. И слушая теперь практически любого исполнителя, неизбежно отмечаю: здесь у него голосок жидковат; здесь низкий тон - рыхлый и неубедительный; а здесь голос слишком резкий и неоднородный. Диана Анкудинова спела бы мягче, глубже, теплее, гуще, объёмнее, насыщеннее. И разумеется, слушая мировые поп- и рок-хиты, каждый раз примеряю теперь эти песни к голосу Дианы - и часто понимаю, что она могла бы их исполнить очень убедительно и абсолютно ни на кого не похоже. Иногда эти грёзы становятся реальностью - как это случилось осенью прошлого года на шоу. Остаётся лишь надеяться, что это шоу не последнее, - поскольку самостоятельно поднять вещь, подобную "Реченьке" или "Вороне", - ни один даже очень успешный артист не в состоянии... А пока, в ожидании чудес, мы готовы довольствоваться малым; и слушая эти маленькие сырые ролики, которые она периодически выкладывает в сеть, - думаем: эх, вот это могло бы быть очень круто, это бы сделать по-настоящему...

I think I'm correct that this was the first time that Igor, there in the white chair, encountered Diana. He copped a lot of flack for waiting so long to press his button. People were hollering at him stuff like: "What's wrong with you man! Why aren't you pressing your button! Can't you hear how incredible she is!?!?" His answer -after the show - was exactly YOUR reaction. He explained he was just waiting for the right break in the song - so as { the noise - & the roar of the audiences response} to be as least intrusive / distracting to her. In fact; after this Igor has actively mentored Diana, to the extent when he found that her family were struggling financially he provided them with a Unit where they could live close to a National Music Academy - where Diana could continue and extend her musical/ vocal studies with the best teachers possible.. m That's the best - and most heart warming - example I've ever heard of somebody "Putting their money where their mouth is!" { or in this case: Where HER Mouth is! Ha Ha! } # Old expression that means making a genuine commitment.

As the song title says, the original wasn't a straight up easygoing love song either, but Diana adds another dimension of haunting and witchery to it. When she sings, she's kind of in trance and appears like a spirit of nature. A special tour de force, she delivers with "Fastidious Horses" and on the lighter side (though rocky) the Sorpions-song "Maybe I maybe you" and just for a lot of fun "Havanna" at home. At the end of the second season of this show he promised her apartment in Moscow to be able for her to attend further education. And he kept his promise.
