There’s not a lot of content out there showing the install process for one of these on an off-brand snorkel, thank you!

Those pre-filters don't work all that well. I use to work at a mine an we installed them on all auxiliary support equipment because of how dusty conditions could get. The dozers every shift both day and night would have to have the filters blown out or replaced as they would lose significant power because of how clogged with dirt they would get from constantly pushing dirt around the clock. We installed pre-filters similar in design but much larger in size to see if we could go longer than literally a shift without having to blow out the filters and no to avail... still the same clogging problems so we removed them. In theory the idea seems great but in practice not so much... There's a reason you also don't see them on trophy trucks.

Sucks the don't sell the OEM kit anymore. I always feel like any of these sold for gasoline powered vehicles need to clarify they aren't intended for letting a vehicle pass through high water as opposed to a Diesel engine. Even Toyota officially referred to it as a "Desert Air Intake".

I also removed the charcoal filter. You can feel the difference. It's not for filtration it just supposedly blocks fumes coming back out. Useless.

Invest in a TRD or a Kn and never replace again. I also run a Kn cabin air filter.

Thats not a factory OEM snorkel tho, because they only came available with the TRD PRO, and the factory OEM snorkel looks different, more slim and the TRD letters aren't that big. But nice video any way man! Like the info you gave!
