This is hands down the best makeover I have seen on You Tube. It helps that Barbie is, in fact, beautiful, but even under close examination, nothing is too much, obvious, or off-putting and what a difference it makes. Literally looks like a million bucks.

Thank you for the email regarding styes. I worked with eye surgeons around thirty years and had to help remove some nasty ones. I didn't say tear glands either, I was talking about small oil glands that have openings along the waterline of our lids. The oil helps keep our eyes moist and if they get clogged, you have a stye.

Will try this in the lashline instead of water line. I find, for myself, if I put liner on the waterline it dries my eyes more because there are ducts there that help provide moisture to the eyes. Great tips though.

So glad I discovered your channel😊This is the first video I've seen- wow! I learned so much. I love that you say it's not anti-aging! I agree- I want to look as good as I can as I age- not younger! I'm always amazed when older women have no clue about makeup. I have been wearing makeup for 60+ years, and keep up to date with all the improvements to products etc. Not sure how to even apply mascara without curling my lashes first!! Tightlining is wonderful for a hooded eye, as it doesn't take up any lid space. Why do you suggest doing mascara before eyeshadow?

Jessica, you ALWAYS make me cry🥰............ making woman feel beautiful! ............ I can deal with my wrinkles and my last lines I have a droopy lid that hangs on my lashes. I am not a wealthy person and would never be able to afford surgery so I’m trying to deal, but I have stopped wearing any kind of eyeshadows or mascaras because it just draws attention to my eyes and I just feel I want to be invisible......SAD........

How would you feel about the loose mineral foundation for workmen 60+ such as Marta for the foundation and Nicolette for the under eye concealer? Do the LaBella Donna loose minerals crease on older women?

Great question Gigi! I’d go for a liquid foundation and La Bella Donna as the loose powder - it gives you SPF coverage. But under the eyes it might crease up a bit if there’s nothing under it. Hope that helps!

Beautiful! Loved this! I'm almost 73 and have the makeup down to where I can do it in my sleep. However, my brows and lashes are beyond hope. Thyroid disease took almost all of my long lush lashes and thick dark brows. I have wisps left. I have thought about getting microblading for my brows. My lashes are so sparse (and now almost colorless - nothing like their very dark brown when I was younger) that mascare doesn't help much and I can't grab them with a curler. I also have essential tremors and that means my hands shake so much that I've stabbed myself in the eye numerous times. So aggravating and I wonder if false lashes are a possibility because of my tremors. Right now I just rely on shadow.

I loved watching this tutorial. Wrote everything down - Haven't updated my makeup in a long time and I learned a lot of new tricks. I am a brunette so can I use the same color foundation (MARTA) or should I go to UMBRIA. Is there anything else I should change for my coloring. Getting ready to order all products. I’d go with the brow kit in Brunette amzn.to/3ztaNHM and Marta is a great foundation shade for us brunettes amzn.to/39oHOtZ For lip color, if you want a natural color, smile big and try to find a lip color that’s the same color as your gums. @@jessicadeben Jessica thanks for the quick response. I tried getting the NYX Wonder Pencil from Amazon and they no longer carry it. Where else could I purchase it from and also would I go with L-M or D? I also tried the trick of putting mascara under the water line, I use Lancome but it irritated my eyes and also disappeared because of the location. Should I be using a waterproof mascara? I will definitely stay tuned for your upcoming videos even though I love Lancome, I am going to try the La Bella Donna products but want to make sure I am purchasing all the right products. Do you have any suggestions for helping hide sun spots?

I have naturally curly hair so I’ve never bothered with eyelash curlers. I certainly try all the other tips though

If you put organic coconut oil on your lashes the night before and curl in morning it makes lashes look longer

I wish that I could do that. Any oil near my eyes always ends up in my eyes.

Deborah it’s probably nourishing to the lashes too. Just make sure to remove it completely before trying to put on mascara. Most of my clients use coconut oil as a makeup remover so the mascara would slide away. Great tip though!

Hi Beverly this Real Techniques brush set is on sale - amzn.to/39AbPuJ and I’d use these soft brushes for eyeshadow and to apply cream concealer under the delicate eye area. The bigger the brush, the more diffused the color will go on so I’d apply with the fluffy and blend with the smaller ones. Let me know how it goes!
