The year was 1999, I'm 18 years old. Brand new Pontiac Sunfire GT, sun roof open, spent the night at the club, driving home, pure bliss. This song on the radio. Or I can go back to when I was a child, definitely this song on the radio. This is from a more innocent time, before 9/11. Beautiful Music.

This album is nothing short of a stunning masterpiece. It blends mystery, sexiness, melancholy, and a remarkable sense of pop major scale notes with minor and brooding turns. Above all, the songwriting is just superior, joining the ranks of The Midnight and Nina in the New Retro Wave genre. Artists of the caliber of Frye deserve way more attention than they receive.

@@thenot-so-smartfox4145 i think Lebrock are absolutely the best: almost every song is amazing (interstellar, runaway, dangerous dreams, heartstrings, one night, don't cry, hollow, only the brave, juice). Also Kristine is a singer that I like very very much (the danger, modern love, burning fever, the deepest blue). Then there is Nina (automatic love, berlin, beyond memory). But the Midnight are probably the most famous band of this synthwave music ( my favorites of them: river of darkness, neon medusa, vampires, the comeback kid, explorers remixed by Yoru & Dimi Kaye).

From what I've listened to so far, this definitely brings the vibes from 80's love ballads with the silky smooth voice telling a story combined with instruments complimenting, not trying to overpower, the vocals. I'd believe it if you told me this was pulled straight outta the 80's

I love how much emotional and spiritual depth your voice has. From a vocals standpoint, you remind me a bit of Elton John. Very few artists, today, have absolute emotional and spiritual immersion in their music, or in other words, absolute honesty and more importantly, absolute vulnerability, which you seem to put fourth in your music. I have a great deal of respect for you, Jessie Frye. Thank you for your wonderful music and please, keep writing and singing. You voice is phenomenal!! Thank you and be blessed!!

I probably listened to Faded Memory 1000 times before discovering this full album. Now I'm just overwhelmed by how awesome it is. Fantastic album! Really nice work. Edit: ok, I love this album and just bought it on vinyl. ♥
