I had NO IDEA Jessie even covered this song until I watched a interview she did in Mexico. I literally heard her singing Miss Patsy's song in the background for maybe 5 seconds and HAD TO look for the song on KZfaq. This brings back SO MANY NOSTALGIC moments I wish I could get back. My grandmother and I used to sing okay, well SCREAM this song on the top of our lungs. She's since passed away and EVERY TIME this plays I can't help but cry. You see, my grandmother and I didn't JUST have a connection but she really was my twin flame. My mother was always in and out of prison leaving my grandma to raise me. She was my grandmother, my mother, my right hand, my rock, & my best friend. And this beautiful song was a classic staple. NOW more then ever, it hits harder than a ton of bricks. I miss you Abuela.

I was absolutely obsessed with Patsy Cline as a kid and this was one of my favorite songs. I would carry a boom box around the house playing one Patsy Cline cd (I only had one) on repeat for days on end driving everyone insane. That said, Jessie is the PERFECT artist to do this song and it’s awesome! No one else could pull this off imo.
