They may not yet have the same money yet to finance their artists but they will. P Nation may be representing a new shift in Kpop culture that would actually allow these idols to have lives outside of the company. 2 high profile suicides recently, idols leaving tours due to anxiety etc... the mental health state of Kpop is poor and needs to be addressed. Psy is treating them as people and not just assets.

L Corin Its true they are working mainly in the SK market and are located in Seoul. But both Jay and Jessi have roots in America. So i dont think people are expecting people to sing in English. Just both these artists are fluent in english and (well from what i know) is known in korea for their foreign vibes aswell.

Most South Koreans don’t like the American style or culture of rap because all Asian culture and standards are kind of violated in the music and videos . It’s just strict and stupid and a lot of Asians can be judgmental . They like the Kpop idols when they rap because the idols keep a certain image that pleases the Korean culture and society or they have a good reputation and name for themselves when they come from a Kpop group

Alright. Since everyone in the comments sounds like they're at their last brain cell, I'll explain the situation. As I saw someone comment earlier, you guys really are making a mountain out of a molehill. Jessi was not "claiming to be a Crip" or "glorifying gang culture." Nor was she "appropriating black culture." First off, let's get one thing straight. *GANG* 👏🏽 *CULTURE* 👏🏽 *IS* 👏🏽 *NOT* 👏🏽 *BLACK* 👏🏽 *CULTURE.* We're already constantly associated with our negative stereotypes by people within and outside our race so why are y'all taking something like a crime gang and making it a "black thing?" Like sis, no. Secondly. Jessi never once within the line in question--or the song for that matter--said she was a Crip. Thirdly, how tf is her saying "Crip" rAcIsT? And, no, just because I say she isn't, doesn't mean I'm racist either. Good straw man. Fourth; the line is just simple wordplay. It's not uncommon amongst good rappers. Diamonds have a bluish tint. The established Crip color, which literally everyone on the planet over the age of 10 knows, is blue. Crips tend to dress in blue. By now you should understand the comparison being made between the color of her jewelry and recognized color for the Crips. Hence the line, "Diamonds blue like a Crip." Argue all you want. It's really as simple as that.
