with jester behind it's safer to only arm the seat when necessary, he has a habit of ejecting when not needed

@@tudorg22 given the situation I take it that he's being proactive to try to save both the pilot as well as himself, according to Ward Carroll (a F 14 RIO) that's RIO's responsibility

He can also set the eject methikd to separate ejects, or rio/pilot ejects both

@@mashinenbratwurstgewehr-42 well there is no way to confirm since the pilot was blacked out when he ejected and they were at low altitude so he could of died but if he ejected when the canopy was facing up or sideways the he would’ve survived. Actually no I think at that altitude in DCS I think that he would have survived no matter what angle he was facing.

But now he faces the true problem, he has to stay in a town out in the middle of the Caucasus for a while.
