Everyone always talks about Counter Spell and Fireball, but come on, Sending is OP as all hell xD As long as you're familiar with someone you can pester them until the end of their (or your) days. You can even send it across planes, so they have nowhere to hide from it xD Not even stuff like Nondetection or other divination-centered protection can save them since Sending isn't even a divination spell xD

As a new viewer (it seems we're called critters, nice pun) who got into Critical Role via Campaign 3, I have no idea who this woman is but I adore her instantly

Jester should make contacts with Clerics in other cities and set up a telegraph service, charging for messages.

I love how she uses this spell, but it does reveal how it can be horribly misused. Imagine the Bright Queen being constantly bombarded by messages every moment of every day. How would she lead the Dynasty? And it's not a divination spell, so items that prevent you being targeted from divination effects would be useless.

I play a knowledge cleric and cast sending fairly often to an NPC named Roger. It always goes something like this: Me: "Hello, it's me, you know, Herra! So, ummm [insert exactly 14 words explaining why we have messaged Roger here] uhhh, please help!" Roger: "Hi Herra, it's me, you know, Roger. [Insert 18 words here]" My Party: *groaning in the background*

Laura totally knew that Sending only allowed 25 words and made this a thing on purpose.

I had this really interesting idea. Now that Fjester is a thing, what if that relationship progresses to the point where Fjord wants to ask Jester to marry him. Being the traditional guy that Fjord/Travis is, he needs to ask Jester's mother for her blessing to propose to Jester, but the group is nowhere near her and not wanting to waste anymore time or just not wanting to wait another day without asking Jester, he asks Jester to cast Sending to her mother. Fjord hands a note to Jester that is 25 words long asking for her mother's blessing to propose. That way the note works as both asking for permission and as the proposal. I think that would be a really creative way for the character to propose and it would incredible to see how Laura/Jester reacts to what she is reading as she reads it out loud in order to Send it to her mother.
