@@BrandonRobbinsMinistry Brandon, I don't know what age level you desire to reach. Your information is enthusiastically presented, clear and usually deep enough for adult Christians. However, I was thinking about a second and third grade class that I would love to show some of your segments. Is that acceptable to you? Do you have any warnings or sage advice? Would you consider doing a KZfaq for children perhaps about the first episode of Jesus birth on earth? PLEASE!

@@kajohnson9805 That's a great question. I definitely think (with few exceptions) the content is appropriate for those ages. My only thought would be - at least based on the kids I'm around - it could be a little long. Might be the kind of things to watch in short clips. I love the idea of something for kids about Jesus' brith. I'll put that on my list of future topics!

Yesterday, I watched 12 and 13 year-olds (the age most accept Christ per Chuck Swindoll and others as it was my experience) play a double header in the sun and rain and persevere. Thank you Brandon, I asked the Holy Spirit to help me understand scripture. As I am new to the Bible and am having a very hard time understanding it. I also have a comprehension problem and the verbiage also is a struggle. I watch The Chosen because it helps me understand Jesus and his disciples and what he was sent to the earth to accomplish. Then my niece told me to ask the Holy Spirit to guide me to someone to help me understand scripture and I was guided to you. Thank you for helping me to understand more about the scripture. I stumbled on Brandon's videos just today. What a breath of fresh air. He explains from the setting of the culture and laws of the day set in history of that time which is how we need to understand if you want to really grasp the deep truths of God's Word. He helps us to look inside our own motives and understand why they and we react to the truth the way we do. I am truely excited about this channel at this difficult time in my life. You are so right that we believers in Christ have a cost with believing in Him...and yet, He has given me the gift of salvation for his love for me, a gift of grace, just for 'believing' and having faith in what He did on the cross. Great historical, cultural and spiritual insight. I feel, for me, when we go beyond our Westernized modern lens of understanding scripture and get insight into the spiritual, cultural and linguistic Jewish roots of scripture, and of all those dynamics during the time Jesus , it reveals to my heart and spirit how even more dynamic all of Gods word is. Brandon, thank you for that beautiful prayer by John Westley. I know I have struggled with consistency throughout my life. One day when I was bemoaning this trend God showed me the verse “do not harden your heart today” showing me that I can start fresh each day with God’s mercy to make each new day fresh in His love and forgiveness.

Thank you Brandon for your message. Through the years with my walk with Christ I find that it seems to be 2 kinds of Christians. True Christians who live by the word of God that's in the Bible, and Christians who are still living under the law, or feel good Christians. I'm 60 years old and I'm still learning, I guess that's the Bible is called the Living Bible. I read and reread the Bible and I'm always wowed. Loved the commentary. I love your insights. I have often wondered if Judas still didn't understand Jesus' mission. I am not defending him but we know someone was going to betray Him for 30 pieces of silver, it had been prophesied. I'd love to know your thoughts on the possibility that Judas thought he could force Jesus' hand. If He were arrested and put on trial, He would be forced to overthrow those who opposed Him. Peter denied knowing Him, was he saying, 'This is not the person I knew?' Once Judas betrayed Him, he killed himself, it obviously didn't turn out as he had hoped. I have never gotten the impression that His disciples understood until after the fact, that Jesus had to die.

This is a beautiful breakdown…. I love that Jesus showed others how to be kind, accepting, and loving of all. A lot of religion is weaponized and politicized, and that’s just a shame. WWJD bracelets were such a big thing when I was a kid…. I wish I would listen to that more. I wish we all would. Jesus took in the “bottom of the barrel; the ‘dredges of society’” and a lot of us turn our backs on them. Let’s all remember those bracelets… wwjd?

Jesus died for us while we were His enemies, and enemies against His Father and Holy Spirit. He willingly took the pain from us so that we did not have to suffer eternal Hell. He saw my worth before I did. As a Methodist, I know this prayer. I have Wesley’s prayer of commitment hanging on my bathroom mirror. Even though I had recited it hundreds of times, I missed ONE word that changed that phrase-- “brought low BY thee”. I had been saying like you did- for thee. FOR and BY gives it a different commitment- BY THEE tells me I can trust the reason why I have been “brought low” because it was BY THEE”. Just my interpretation
