If Allah had willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among themselves after receiving the clear proofs. But they differed-some believed while others disbelieved. Yet if Allah had willed, they would not have fought one another. But Allah does what He wills. [Surah Al-Baqarah; 2:253] Surah Ali-Imran 4. Remember when the angels proclaimed, “O Mary! O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes regarding your faith; say nothing about Allah except the truth. So believe in Allah and His messengers and do not say, “Trinity.” Stop!-for your own good. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him! He is far above having a son! To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is sufficient as a Trustee of Affairs. [Surah An-Nisa; 4:171] 13. The Messiah would never be too proud to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels nearest to Allah. Those who are too proud and arrogant to worship Him will be brought before Him all together. [Surah An-Nisa; 4:172] Surah Al-Ma’idah 14. Indeed, those who say, “Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary,” have fallen into disbelief. Say, O Prophet, “Who has the power to prevent Allah if He chose to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, his mother, and everyone in the world all together?” To Allah alone belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in between. The disbelievers among the Children of Israel were condemned in the revelations of David and Jesus, son of Mary. That was for their disobedience and violations. [Surah Al-Ma’idah; 5:78] 19. Remember My favour upon you and your mother: how I supported you with the holy spirit so you spoke to people in ˹your˺ infancy and adulthood. How I taught you writing, wisdom, the Torah, and the Gospel. How you moulded a bird from clay-by My Will-and breathed into it and it became a real bird-by My Will. How you healed the blind and the lepers-by My Will. How you brought the dead to life-by My Will. How I prevented the Children of Israel from harming you when you came to them with clear proofs and the disbelievers among them said, “This is nothing but pure magic.” [Surah Al-Ma’idah; 5:110] 20.
