That's a lie. God has given his word and his word is truth. As man has been given a free will God does not interrupt it. Only the evil men does. They tell you do what they want. Jesus is the son of God, anointed, exalted but he is not God The Father, creator of all things, it is important to make this distinction. Christ teaches us how to know the Father and love Him as He loves us.

Jesus is not God himself you missed the point open your heart and eyes. Mattew 17:4-6, Mattew 3:17. John 10:36.

I do follow Jesus and I interpret his words correctly. Jesus shows us God and he is the way to the Father, he is not the Father, he is Jesus, an important distinction to make.

I'm sorry but you are wrong. If Jesus is God, scripture makes no sense and I would consider myself a believer no longer. The Doctrine of the Trinity is a pagan hybrid concept that has nothing to do with the truth of Christ. How do you think Jesus would feel if you called him God? How would you feel if someone came to you and claimed that you are your father? This makes no sense. Christ and God are one in essence. They are not literally one and the same, they are two different beings. Without this distinction, the purpose of Christ's life is done away with and all of his teachings are undermined. Jesus is of God, he represents God, he is the greatest son of God. He is not literally God himself! Why is this so hard????

@@bartmann4746 Interesting. So when Jesus says "I and the Father are one" how should we interpret it, in your opinion? And "Amen, amen I say to you, before Abraham was, I am." If not as in the "I am" of the burning bush, then what on earth does he mean? Also when Jesus is asked by the Sanhedrin if he is God, because they heard that this what he was claiming, he doesn't deny it. Surely then he should've said that he was only a prophet of God. Sorry to shoot these questions at you but I'm curious about your interpretation.
