Genuine peace originates from Jesus Christ. Though His life was spent in our often war-torn, famished, and poverty-stricken world, He promised He had something more to offer us. In this sermon, Dr. Stanley explains what Jesus meant when He said, “My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you” (John 14:27). Jesus’ peace is not of this world.

I've never seen Dr. Stanley before 2 days ago. I am absolutely stunned how good his messages are. This is my new calling to hear him speak. I am so proud to have Jesus back in my life. I need him more than ever right now.

God bless Dr. Charles Stanley’s family. What an absolutely amazing and wonderful man of God. He is greatly missed. After my then wife of nearly 16 years asked for a divorce…it was The Lord and listening to Dr. Stanley sermons on my phone all day every day at work to help prevent me from completely breaking down and giving up.

I have absolutely nothing but peace. It doesn’t mean I don’t go through little challenges here and there but now I have complete rest knowing that God takes care of everything. I do not struggle. I do not fear. I do not think about anything but my joy, peace, love, hope! I can finally rest! I can breathe now. Thank you God ♥️

@@ramonfabular1022 it is just that so many "Christians" have distorted what Christianity is. They wear it is a label. To pronounce you are Christian means nothing, and it often means the opposite. they are OFTEN the same people who on facebook, are the first to say "I'm praying for you" yet never consider visiting the very sick person in the hospital. They go to church and stretch out their hands in worship, singing very clearly so that God hears them, but they just don't live the life of a Christian. To be a Christian is a hard hard road. It is not a proclamation, but a matter of it SHOWING itself in real life. only God knows who those are.
