Video of the final retirement flight of Jet2 Boeing 757 G-LSAH from Manchester Airport to Cotswold Airport, Kemble.
On 8 June 2020 the ex-Jet2 Boeing 757-200 G-LSAH departed Manchester having not flown since 21st March due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The aircraft flew to Kemble (EGBP / GBA) for part-out and scrap. She touched down for the last time at Kemble at 12:02 local time. The flight number was EXS031E.
This aircraft first flew in October 1987 before being delivered to China South
Airlines. It joined the Jet2 fleet in February 2007.

They will all be gone by 2024, but G-LSAG, G-LSAD, and G-LSAH have already been retired. G-LSAI will probably be next unfortunately :(

I was at Kemble last week and this aircraft is still there now somewhat still intact but Her days are surely numbered now.

I went on a 757 twice in 2017 to and from a Holiday in Spain. One was silver the other was Jet2Holidays livery. I remember the reg of one of them. G-LSAD.

I think Tui have probably the oldest 757,s left in europe . Sad to see this aircraft end up in the scrap yard .

The oldest 757 currently in Jet2’s fleet is G-LSAI at 33.7 years old. TUI’s oldest 757s are G-OOBN and G-OOBP, both 21.2 years old. So, Jet2’s are much older in comparison. There may potentially be some 757Fs still flying in Europe that are slightly older.

no way man i think jet 2 is jumping the gun . in scraping this type would be better selling on. i bet they will realise the 757 is going to be in much demand. as a lot of 757s . will be in much demand. as it a perfect fit . for some airlines
