Jethro Tull Locomotive Breath was performed Live at Exeter Cathedral December 2022. I thought I'd make this available as the only track permitted for cameras during the concert. Its around a year since the concert , so I've put this as a premiere a year to the day - please tune in and enjoy!
Ian Anderson and his band once again performed the Christmas Album and a variety of his songs at Exeter Cathedral in December 2022. The Jethro Tull Christmas Album is a mix of new material, re-recordings of Tull's own suitably themed material and arrangements of traditional Christmas music. In 2009, the live album Christmas at St Bride's 2008 was included with the original album on CD if you can grab a copy from Amazon or Ebay its a MUST listen at Christmas time.
Ian Anderson supports many of the UK Cathedrals this time of year, this was Exeter 2022. His charitable donations of putting on these events and contributions raised go towards projects such as 'new toilets' at the Cathedral in addition to many other projects is simply outstanding. Thanks to Ian for raising ticket funds which 100% go to the Cathedrals in which he performs at Christmas.
Clip featuring the wonderful Rev. George Pitcher. Guest - Seth Lakeman on violin.
Thanks to Ian Anderson for this amazing contributions to the UK's fantastic historic places.
The Jethro Tull Christmas Album can be heard over at Spotify - please take some time and tune in over Christmas to his album here: open.spotify.com/album/4ArHkP... . This Christmas Album is a collection of fantastic tracks and is on my playlist every December.
"Locomotive Breath" is a song by British progressive rock band Jethro Tull from their 1971 album, Aqualung.
Written as a comment on population growth, "Locomotive Breath" was meant to replicate the chugging rhythm of a train.
