This song was released in 1971, when I was a high school freshman in Los Angeles. Ive been listening to Tull a long time. No cover I've come across has the passion of the original. But you did it, I can feel it it every note you crafted. Thanks, that was wonderful.

VK nails a Tull classic. I’m really beginning to think V is either a robot or an alien. How interesting it would be to see how her brain processes the music that she plays. I am in awe of this young lady’s talent.

@@V8Bluebottle I still call it a synth as it synthesizes a real pianos sounds with samples, it's not a bad one but it isn't a real piano either as there's no strings like an upright or grand.

Just how is she site reading? Her eyes are closed. She is playing by feel and maybe is listening to the song on her headphones to just the drum and bass parts to keep up with the time changes.

@@powskier Look closer. She opens her eyes for brief periods and gazes the pages. So I'm assuming she consumes about 12 lines in those brief glimpses then disappears back into her lids. Also.... joke killer :-P

A must listen for all Tull fans. Having seen Tull live in early 1970 at the Guildhall. Stand up and Benefit are my two favourite albums. EXECUTED perfectly.

I saw Tull several times in NY NY area in early 70's too, but the show at the then "Nassau Coliseum when he did this sticks in my forever. Rock On Brother!

I bought the sample of this off Musicnotes, it's basically the intro. Then I saw that I could watch the artist play it on you tube. OMG. I muddle thru the intro, I could NEVER PLAY THIS LIKE HER!!! I am glad I didn't try to buy the rest. She is awesome. I am going to watch it again.

Fantastic! You play the intro much better than Ian Anderson's current keyboardist! John Evans was of course the master, and Andy Giddings really nailed it as well. Not sure if John O'Hara is trying to give it his own spin or what, but it's wanting.

Jethro Tull tends to be so complicated technically. Wow I saw them at Madison Square Garden in NYC in 1978. lol Getting close to a half century ago... Very nice interpretation of a real classic. Had to replay your intro 4 or 5 times. Yeah nice...
