Are those two LEDs battery indicators? Also how do they work in particular?

I judt got one of these, and the only thing I'm not sure of, is what is the hole on the body of the laser, opposite of the buttons?

check power consumption this is not 1w laser :/

Lasers are rated by their output power after losses, not by their consumption. If you go by consumption it's 12-13W.
