Learn Jetpack Compose in Android. This is the first video of the series where we will be looking at setup required for database and API. This is a simple app covering basics of MVVM pattern with Jetpack Compose. Learn how to use viewmodels, HILT, navigation component, coroutines, retrofit with jetpack compose. This app will be a tweets curator app - where you will be curating tweets based on the category and show it to your users. For db and api setup we are using a third party website - JSONBin.io. This provides a way to host json and provides references to api to access this data. You can use firebase or host an api to access this json data but chose this option to learn new technology.
Learn how to setup a project from scratch in this introductory video. We will be covering a lot. Learn how to get the data using ChatGPT - good example of using ChatGPT for data curation. You can use this for any category of data you want. This is a simple example and opens a huge opportunity for you to add features. Learn how to define composables using best practices. Everything is explained in Hindi (हिन्दी)

The android dependecy and gradel file things are such a pain to deal with man, this video is 11 months old and android studio already have new version of gradel configuration, i had to move to lower version to be able to use HILT or it was giving me error saying > Task :app:kaptDebugKotlin FAILED error: [Hilt] Unsupported metadata version. Check that your Kotlin version is >= 1.0: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Unsupported metadata version. Check that your Kotlin version is >= 1.0 i had to go inside its lib file in gradel and change the version to lower and few other changes in gradel file itself, such a pain ;-;
