Interesting how the pace at which you fly is slower than the first game, but still has the same amount of action, if not more, due to the shoot em up mechanics

I remember 10 years ago when I download this game and I didn't know there was an update button, so I have been playing the oldest version of this game for years, the no update version is still in my old iPad lol

3 timelines : Timeline 1 : barry is quiet and is a psycopath that steals the jetpack to kill innocent scientists. Backstory : he had enough of earth and went on a suicide mission, he studied the lab for years and knows the routes and jetpacks available (in this universe hes smarter and is able to sneak in the labs) aftery years, he finally decides to go for it, the jetpack he picked was the machine gun jetpack, as he wanted to take some people with him to the grave, after he dies, he wakes up in his bed, he thinks its a simple timeloop where if he dies he is returned to his bed, after trying the same thing again, and waking up on the same bed again, he knew he had nothing to lose, and thats when the first jetpack joyride Timeline started. Timeline 2 : timeline one but there are 2 seperate barry's "ingame barry" and "real barry. (he gave the idea to halfbrick and now hes popular ) Timeline 3 : same thing as timeline 1 but he is more talkative and has made a friend

The OG jetpack joyride will forever be the best

It's kinda funny to see so many people instantly brushing the game off as bad as soon as they see the smallest glimpse of an energy system.

As much as I appreciate the work they've put in this game, this just has too many changes from the original. This feels so far drifted from what we've already got used to in the first one

The stamina system immediately ruined my interest in the game

When I saw the trailer, I loved the direction this game went. Bosses, guns, art direction, it was all nice. Then i realised it wasn't an endless runner game. Halfbrick, that's not how you make a sequel

Craig is helping Barry even tho he works for the dude that specifically doesn't want Barry getting the Jetpack again.

Well, no game is perfect, they had to put energy in for that reason :(

One thing about the game other than the energy system is that the scientists don’t care as much as in the original

Just take out the energy system and it’s dandy. Also don’t worry guys, this is just a soft launch, there is still a lot of developing to be done. So if we give enough feedback, they will remove it

The original will always will be the best, but damn this one looks much smoother on the eyes. The music is kinda meh, wish it was the original just more stuff added onto it.

I actually don't mind energy system since most mobile games I played has that, so I'm used to it. But I can see this is more p2w than the og and a lot more grindy because there's lots to upgrade. But I like it, there's more things to do.

I think that older version is better. Some mechanics shown here are really good, but they're olny filling up the gaps made by adding some uselless things that would olny add irytation
