Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo discusses her firs encounters with Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche in England. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche was later known as the brilliant "bad boy of Buddhism," and was pivotal in bringing Tibetan Buddhism to the West.

All the same, Trungpa may have been a great teacher, but as a human being, he was little better than Sogyal rinpoche.

Chogyum trungpa rinpoche was a lion of buddha dharma the way he spreads buddhism in west no other lama or rinpoche had dare to do so ......

Trungpa was fantastic. He is still teaching me to this day! Lamas really do dance and one life, time and place is no hindrance or limitation.

I bet if that teacher had done these things in this era he'd be in jail, like that film maker I don't remember his name.

You judge a lama by his students. Some of his students i met are so humble and amazing dharma practitioners. Given cultural climate of America at that time. He was the perfect lama for that era and he is one of the main reasons why Tibetan dharma is very much alive.

i so appreciate her forthrightness with only barest understanding how much it may have cost her to stand up and speak out and she has such equanimity about it and grace.

It's really a crazy wisdom as injis says but it was great Maha sidis way of helping the crazy people' to live and let other s to live but such was the student or followers who does not have a bit of choegyal trunpa rinpoches wisdom
