Making a Bakugan anime-style live action battle video has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. Inspired by other 'anime in real life' parody spoof videos, obviously. Toolbox and I set out to create a perfect fusion of the reboot assets and the Bakugan: Battle Brawlers TV show game rules.

Well done. This perfectly captures completely cringe dialogue and nonsensical tactics from the original show. Its almost as if the protagonists only really won because the entire battle was scripted, but that would just be crazy.

I just noticed the HSP counter in the bottom corners. This really is a combination of all iterations of Bakugan.

I think in the show, HSP applied to your rank on the international rankings board. So even if you lose a battle, a high HSP score would show you still performed well and it wouldn't hurt your ranking as badly. I *think*.

That bit where Toolbox walks over to Jett's side to show him rulings on his phone reminds me so much of when my friend and I tried playing modern Yu-Gi-Oh with Duel Disks playing like 5 feet away from eachother.

While watching this a month late, WOW I would watch a full series of Bakugan battlin' guys. Having brawlers who are aware that they are in a cringy early 2000's anime but still acting the way they do is very funny to me.

OMG! You guys did it. 🤯 You made the most epic Bakugan Brawl ever! It is just like in the Anime, but in Real Life. 🤩 I hope you can possibly make a whole mini series out of it one day. Maybe some BakuMasters and other epic Bakugan Brawlers from the community can make appearances. Or maybe Jett Kuso VS the Awesome Brawlers in Real Life (the Voice Actors). That would be awesome! I would love to see that one day. Maybe even a Real Life Brawl between Cimo and Cimoga VS Jett Kuso and Jettra as the final showdown! 😀👍
