I feel the same way fishing around rocks at my local pond for bass back in McAllen. I use exposed hook and a small crappie bait so there is no weedless option when my swim bait is 1.25 inches but the hook comes out easy by walking to the other side. But the bass come out from the rocks and ambush it.

Those rocks by the jetty are horrible, Cant tell you how many jigs I have lost in them haha, Who is thinking about parking when you are about to hit that saltwater!!.. Those speckled trout are some nice looking fish, Looked really good too, cant get any fresher then that, Good stuff brother! 👍👊

What’s good my brother? Yes, it was just in between two small fronts and perfect riming really. I was on the fence with cancelling , as there was a very small window of opportunity. Nothing like that salt water in your veins! Best of luck out there, stay blessed!

@@Aqua_Holic_Fishing No doubt. Fishing around San Antonio has been tough lately. I've had far greater turn outs in ATX. There are numerous ponds, creeks and other bodies of water that hold decent bass. I'd highly recommend it. Well, until then. Tight lines & deep hook sets 🤙🏽🎣

Oh yeah, I have a few spots in ATX with some DD's man, I just have to make some time to get my keister up there, some solid water up there and even further north in Texas. Have a great one!!

@@yeahbuddy_1107 I would have to scan the video to see exactly where I’m staying in this specific one. However, yes would be the answer either way. Every-time I visit the area, I pick different an Air B & B or similar to stay. Some are incredible and some or not all that great. However, it assists with future visits on where to stay and/or stay away from. Thanks for hanging out and have a tremendous afternoon!
