@@melonheadgaming4254 it’s 100% worse. Just a hot mess of a campaign which has been rushed, making the open missions which are just DMZ takes away the immersion you normally from a cod campaign. Instead you waste time running around looting and plating up because they have lacked any imagination for a linear story driven campaign mode. And it’s all over after 4 hours 🙄

Personally, I am not that big of this campaign. I *understand* the style approach, but I feel like it's just a cop out to investing time into events and triggers. It's 80% just run around, complete basic tasks, avoid/stealthily take out enemies and if spotted, 'reinforcements inbounds'... I prefer the original style campaign where you are kind of guided along like a playable story than a run around hoping to figure out what to do. This has to be the most solo operated style COD game in history. You spend more time being solo (the only person on allied side that can be shot at or looked at by AI enemies) than having a 'team' with you. Maybe I completed the game too fast and didn't let the style sink in (completed it in roughly 4 or so hours), but it just feels like a reuse asset cop out than taking the time to craft a decent experience. I really loved the story (besides the ending), they definitely had some twists that were nice but the gameplay itself was very much lacking. Mechanics were fine for the most part and the graphics are UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING for a COD game, but again the core gameplay just wasn't enjoyable to me...

it wasnt good at all, You can tell it was rushed, the WHOLE campaign is centered about makarov and we see NOTHING happem, we get 2 forced character deaths in the final missinon that feels so forced just to push for a mw4 story. The "no russian" mission was so underwelming i was coping and hoping that we would get something near the end but we never did.

COD is such a dissapointing game now. Nothing about these games past modern warfare are just trash. Theyre so tactical and make the game so difficult to play. The open world missions are garbage. Changing loadouts are trash. All of this sucks. The movement, the guns, some graphics, the fact you can drive vehicles freely in missions. COD is the new gamestop.
