Basic Pliers (flush cutter, round nose, flat nose and chain nose)

Can you hammer round wire flat for the cab?

You can try it, but make sure it isn't a plated wire or the plating will come off. It's best to use a sterling silver or bare copper wire for this. Also, when you hammer, just be careful and make sure you get the wire in a uniform shape. It will take you a bit longer, but will be worth it in the end. You also have to be careful that you don't hammer it too thin. If you can get a flat, half-round or square wire, you should. It's worth the investment in the long run, plus the piece of mind. Hope this helps!

Isn’t that liver of sulfure harmful for the hand? Should it be washed before continuing?

Hi! The liver of sulphur by Eurotool we use is formulated for extended shelf life, versatility and convenience. The gel makes it easy to use and less mess with better results. It is Non-hazardous and my be used in concentrate or diluted in warm water for desired effect. Always use in a ventilated area and wear gloves if you feel you want to protect your hands while you use it. A good hand washing after use is always recommended! Hope this helps!
