Yes, I have a question for you. Why do you oxidize your metal of your just going to burnish it all off again? I thot that it was used to get an antiqued effect on your jewelry? Or is there some other reason why you use it? Thanks for your classes, they are always so informative!❤

Hi. I kinda wondered the same thing. But my amateur guess is that, as you can see by the examples she showed, the oxidized look , after polishing, does not come off totally, especially the oxidized look in the deeper cracks and crevices and depressions in the hammered or twisted pieces That's my guess 🙂
