Lovely testimony…I so get what he said that it is God that changes us and not ourselves! I too was exposed to sin at an early age! Sexual abuse that also included pornography and many age inappropriate stuff! Yes, it messed up my head, big style! When I came to faith only 3 years ago, I too tried to do it myself and I failed miserably. It’s only been in the last 3 months that I truly accepted that I can’t do it myself. Since then the Lord has been very active in my life. I still slip at times and try to sort things myself, but He reminds me how much I need Him! Lovely, wonderful God, wise and merciful. Maranatha

I was born and raised in a Catholic family. My mom is a devout Catholic, serving the church, doing rosary with those images made of wood or stones. She's also doing procession of the images of Mary, bowing down and touching the image with handkerchief. I grew with all these things that my mom is doing which doesn't really bothers me because I am not a religious person. I would say my faith with the God that we believed in is somewhat 10%. I didn't even know the concept of "God" came from, didn't even know the Bible. But after 43 years of my life, God made me realised that He's doing miracles in my life. He always provided an exit to my adulterous situation. (cried too much 😭😭😭) So I started going to the church which is the Catholic church. With a few weeks going to the church every Sunday, I've felt something wrong seeing people kneeling down in front of the image of Mary (a grotto outside of the church). Then I started reading and studying the Bible, of course with the guide of the Holy Spirit. God is gracious with wisdom when you asked of it and everything it make sense to me. God is truly faithful with His promises, He gave me a new heart and a new spirit (Ezekiel 36:26) I am born again in spirit ( John 3:3, 1 Peter 1:23, 2 Corinthians 5:17, John 3:6) He made me realised that from Heaven, He came down on earth to save us, and that is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 14:6, Kuke 2:11, 1 Timothy 1:15, Titus 2:13) From 10% to a million percent faith.😊😊😊 Matthew 6:33 Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all this things will be given to you as well

I feel the same as a youth leader. A couple weeks ago we did a skit: one guy was a house, another was a builder and the builder was telling his friend all the stuff he's going to do to the house to make it great. The two guys left. The house thought he had to get at it and make himself into all the things that the builder said. The house tried really hard to do it all and failed miserably and then gave up. Then the builder came back and turned the house into what he said he would do. I thank Jesus, because I can't make the changes that need to happen. Sin is apart of our dna, that is why we have to become a new creation in Jesus.

Wow. Glory to God for His Son. I can relate to this young man. Greg? Anyhow; God opened my eyes June of 1980. Raised Catholic; catholic school; altar boy; nuns galore. And priests. But no Jesus. Just the ten commandments. Over and over and over again. Us students hated religion class first hour of each morning. 1st . grade thru 7 th. Boring. Left my religion at 18 and just went crazy in the world. Beer women drugs parties and fast cars. But never finding Joy. Just temporal happiness. Until one beautiful day in June, 1980. Got saved!
