I'm so sorry Mr. Percy MP and any other Jewish person feels like this. I'm all for free speech and have been an advocate for it the whole of my life. BUT I am not an advocate for the tactics being used by various lobbies to generate fear among the citizenry, the police, and our institutions. This problem needs to be dealt with immediately. If it is not, I fear an end to our way of life. This cannot continue.

I am not Jewish but on Saturday being in central London with the pro-Palestine marches going on I would feel totally intimidated by the crowds. The police are totally useless in my opinion. I feel that the propaganda against Israel and the Jewish people has been extremely negative. I feel that this lets people have freedom of speech however closing down central London and intimidating Jewish people is not ok. What is the government doing except for placating Hamas supporters?

Cannot begin to express my sorrow at this repetition of an ancient time when England expelled all its Jewish citizens. To watch police stand by, allowing these calls for genocide of Jews; to see a government doing absolutely nothing to stop it; all this is heartbreaking. Although Australia’s crowds are smaller, we are facing the same threats and exactly the same lack of action. It seems as if our governments will react with indifference to the genocide of their Jewish populations. Oh yes, of course, our numbers are so small that, where VOTES are concerned, our absence will not matter. I forgot to think of that.

Hello friend, your throwing words around like Genocide for an emotional response without understanding the reality. The "Palestinians" were given Gaza 2005! They are given billions of pounds of aid every year - what do they do with it - build tunnels of death and war. The Jews that lived in Gaza were FORCIBLY removed by the IDF. This has not brought peace but more violence closer to Israel. Two million Arabs, Druze, Bedouin etc live in Israel and have a right to vote, Join the Army, the Kennest etc. If you live in peace you will be respected and your family prosper in Israel.
