As I listened tv in background showing people of Ukraine walking away from their homes trying to avoid the invading Russian army. Seems as though we have learned little of living together in peace. The horror and loss of his family and experiences is with him still. I am happy to see the love of his wife and children have given him joy and peace.

Truly heartbreaking to see this very lovely man cry for his family.I wish these interviewers had a bit more empathy with these people.

I'm sure they have enormous empathy, but these are archival interviews, not entertainment to make the viewer feel good. It's critically important that they don't insert themselves into the content in any way.

All he went through and how good he stayed. What an innocent victim of a hate filled regime. His endurance and love for family are very inspiring.

When this lovely man broke down, I thought I would lose it. Oh, how heartbreaking it is to hear what was done to him; to his family. And there are so many, many Jewish people who lost everything, everyone in that horrible war. My heart just breaks for them all. I'm so happy he found his wife and had another family.
