"Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked- But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth." - Isaiah 53:4-9

Being "baptized" with the master teacher of the New Covenant is found below. I am not the master teacher, but He sent His Spirit to live inside me. Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage? Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, “baptize” KJV Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Mar_1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

I watched several vídeos showing Isaiah before chapter 53 several chapters referring to Israel as the suffering servant like in chapter 42 and others. N.T. & O.T. are 2 different books but Christians want to connect both because Jesus was a Jew but a transgressor of Judaism. This the truth, I am a Christian , sorry but you have to accept.

@LOL MAO I guess I should be extremely clear, but I do not worship the Virgin Mary nor any other man made doctrine or relic or thing, so I'm not too sure what you mean by "blood shedding virgin sacrifice" However, I do Worship Yahweh because He alone is worthy of praise and Worship. I am indebted to Jesus Christ for giving up his life by the horrible crucifixion and beatings He received in my place and every other human being on this earth for all of our filthy sins, trespasses, and iniquities out of agape love. It's a simple gospel that's not difficult to understand, so simple in fact a child can understand it and yet so deep theologians can drown in it. I will look into the Tanak for the proof of Jesus Christ in old testament scriptures for you since you say there's no evidence when there's plenty.

Wonderful - I was a "church girl" from the time I was implanted into my mother's womb...a Southern Baptist church girl and I, at 63 years of age, FINALLY "got it" that Jesus was the Messiah for me...I DID everything that a "good" Baptist girl did from as far back as I can remember; went to a Christian College and a Southern Baptist Seminary...worked as a church planter in Chicago. I lived a semi chaste lifestyle and the older I grew, the more anxious, depressed and agitated I became. At one point I THOUGHT that I accepted Christ as my Savior but life intruded in a shattering way when my husband was diagnosed with metastatic Melanoma and subsequent died 15 months later. All my thoughts and actions were directed towards him...then, my mind was focused on my livelihood. Again, depression, fear, anxiety and restlessness took control. But, I would think about my saying "that prayer" so that means I'm saved, right? On Dec. 3, 2017, we had a special speaker at my church who asked us a question, "Does God know you?" I thought, "of course" but there was a BOOMING silence inside of me - crickets...chirp, chirp. It really shook me. How is this? I prayed. I went to Seminary. I, I, I. I went to talk to him and he read Scripture, I confessed my sin and confessed that Jesus is Lord and he prayed with me. I knew immediately that I was "a new creature in Christ." I knew immediately that I was different. That Peace of God that is promised to aChild of God was mine - I had peace, joy, contentment and salvation for the first and only time in my life. I am now 66 and my Relationship with the Lord keeps growing and getting better.

Trust me, if you are serious about knowing him, he will reveal himself to you. Shalom ❤️🙏🏼

Amen! That's the whole point. God did everything possible to give us evidence of Him. The OT has many prophecies that point to the future arrival of the Messiah and His attributes. It's for the very purpose so that Israel could recognize Him when He showed up. There's a reason Isaiah 53 is a banned chapter for the Jews...too much evidence that points to Jesus. He indeed has become a stumbling block to them. It's sad. But it's joyous to see so many Jews having the scales fall away from their eyes.

Thirty years ago I was a Christian teacher in a Jewish school. I knew the Bible stories for all the holidays, because I had learned them as a child in Sunday School. I remember one day when there was a great grandmother listening to me tell one of the stories and saying, "She is such a good Jewish woman," and the other teachers and parents kept telling her that I was NOT Jewish. I learned so much about my religion during those three years. I learned so much about where Christianity had been born. It made me a better Christian to understand my religion through a different lens. We are all children of the same Creator. We should not have so much trouble finding ways to agree and to get along.

As a child in an evangelical Bible Church in the early '50s, I too was taught all of the OT stories of God's goodness and faithfulness... My pastor spent a summer in Israel just before I was born on a trip that completed requirements for his Doctorate in BIBLE LIFE & HISTORY... Returning hom, he was able to bring a small canister of water from the Jordan River, and I was the first child Baptized in that water... In addition, he requested that my aunt, director of our Sunday School, find a curriculum for the youngest children in our Sunday School ages 3 to 5 & 6-8, using the "Jewish/OT stories as the basis for learning in these formative years. When going through a very tough situation in more recent years, my now pastor, asked me how I stayed so calm and sure in my faith? I told him that I KNEW GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL, through ALL the SOUND STORIES I was taught as a very young child, using story telling, flannel graph presentations, and all of the children's and young person's songs with hand movements, I learned then and can still sing today at 75 years young!!! Praise our Lord and Saviour! Many blessings all...

Jesus is the Messiah! Isaiah 52:15 is after Isaiah 53 has been fulfilled! So we know the nations cannot speak as the rabbis interpret it in Isaiah 53 because those who spoke in Isaiah 53: 1 heard the words of the proclamation but did not believe! but it is said of the nations! they do not know anything about it until it is fulfilled! So the nations should not even know that the rabbis are waiting for the Messiah who will make them great and strong again! 52,15 so he will sprinkle many nations,[4] and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what ⚠️⚠️⚠️they were NOT TOLD, they will see, and what they have NOT HEARD⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️, they will understand. WE READ ONE SENTENCE FURTHER! 53,1 1 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? WHAT AN INTERPRETATION OF LIES BY THE RABBIS So only the Israelites can speak in Isaiah 53!
@Hannestv46073 жыл бұрын
And Isaiah 53 is already fulfilled because the nations already know it 52:15 is after Isaiah 53 has been fulfilled! otherwise the verse 52,15 would be nonsense! ⚠️⚠️⚠️ How can Isaiah 52:15 enter before Isaiah 53 is fulfilled?⚠️⚠️⚠️ the nations + kings! Will close their mouth in amazement before something is even fulfilled? And before something is fulfilled, we will see something that has not yet been fulfilled! And we will understand what has not happened yet! !!Therefore, in Isaiah 53, the nations cannot speak. = The servant is the messiah!!!

Only and only when the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD remove the veil of our eye, are able to see. Salvation is entirely, from start to end, is the work of the LORD in our life. Jonah 2:9 "But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD." " Psalms 3:8 "Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. PS.61:1 " Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation." Romans 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." " Romans 9:15-16 "For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. [16]So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." " Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9]Not of works, lest any man should boast." All the glory belongs to our God who loved us and offer the life of his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.

A sister verse to Isa. 53:1 is found in Ezek. 4:7, the Arm of the LORD is revealed. HE "bear the iniquity of Judah" 40 years then sent Titus "a prince" to end the "abominations" of crimson thread continued animal sacrifices in 70 ad. The iron the metal symbolic for Rome the pan symbolic for a wall of Roman shields round about Jerusalem. Messiah prophesy against Jerusalem, "your house made desolate" and "no stone not thrown down". I came across your video today. I was moved! And then tonight in Ladies Bible study we read Isaiah 53, then discussed the rejection of many of the Jewish people of Jesus in Matthew. We guessed at reasons some might reject. Would we reject? Would we be willing to see Jesus for who He really was/is? I immediately thought of the video. I shared with the ladies as soon as I got home and could. ❤️ Thank you for sharing. Praise to the Father who loves us so much to give His Son to be our Redeemer and to place HIS Spirit in us! Born again! Thank you, Lord!

Moch'eyah interestingly you attack me, you ignore others on here but attack me. Satan I rebuke you and your Hebrew roots movement in Jesus Name. Heavenly Father in Accordance with Your Holy Word I offered peace and this child of Satan will have none of it, so now Lord God Almighty I hand this battle over into Your Hands, as I lay siege against the enemy. I pray that You Almighty God will bind this person until such point that they repent and become a vessel for honour. In The Name that holds complete Authority Jesus of Nazareth Amen and Amen✝️

Moch'eyah I’m not black so that’s your first mistake. I’m Born Again so I bow to no idols. I worship The Father through The Son. You are just another wanna be black Jew placing yourself under old covenant laws even though Jesus came to set you free. The hurt of what has happened to your people has become a stumbling block to you, whilst you maintain that anger you will never be able to accept the love of Jesus and the freedom that He brings. Anyway enough, The Lord said you are from a rebellious house and I believe Him.

Beware the Pharisees and the sages. Titus 3:9-11 King James Version (KJV) 9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. 10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; 11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself. Galatians 3:19-25 King James Version 19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. 20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Goodbye

Our Lord Jesus is the manifestation of God's compassion and love for us. The One true God is not cruel. He did everything to help and save us from sin. Without Jesus, there's no real love. People lie, covet, steal and kill. They smile but they do it to deceive you. Men without Jesus are deceitful and corrupt. We are so corrupted we don't see it ourselves! Only Jesus can open our eyes to the truth. God loves us. Why wouldn't He? He made us in His image and sacrificed for us. Isn't this enough proof? Father please forgive us for our unbelief. Amen.

@David Tucker Interesting - I sent this also to Hector - I see some here don't feel the same - I will look into that as my first husband was Catholic but I have also sought an understanding of the TRINITY as I understand even that as a person I have been a CHILD and a PARENT and definitely know I have experienced "spirituality" but only through JESUS did I understand the meaning of the HOLY Spirit and he is both corporal and non-corporal - HE IS THE CREATION
