Non Jews watching this must be confused, so I'll explain. The Western Wall (wailing Wall) was part of the western part of the fortifying walls of the greater plaza complex of the Temple Mount extended and renovated by King Herod, king of the Roman occupying province of Judea. The place where the Dome of the Rock (constructed during the Muslim Arab occupations) stands is in fact the holiest place in Judaism, it's the (disputed) location of the Holy of Holies on that same Temple plaza where two of our holy temples once stood each before their own destruction by foreign occupying powers. The Western Wall (or the Small Western Wall) is the closest part of the fortifying Temple walls to the Holy of Holies. Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple used to pray near the Golden Gate until the Ottoman Turk purposely made a Muslim cemetery there; Subsequently, we moved to this current site as a result. **Know that the Wall isn't our holiest site-its what's behind it that is**

You balls it up in the first sentence. Judea wasn’t “occupied” by the Romans, it was INVENTED by the Romans. Judea was a Roman Providence and Herod was their client king. The locals adopted Hellenised culture completely, just like everyone else in the region. They taught the locals everything. How to read and write, they introduced a currency, they even adopted Roman names. In fact the Romans were stationed in the Temple itself. The Romans put in the Arab Nabatean Herod as the King Of The Jews

Moshe Rebbennu too pleaded HaShem for the forgiveness of the ISRAELITES after the sin of the Golden Calf after the ISRAELITES repentanted themselves. So no one died for my sins I have to be accountable for my sins and repent to HaShem and mend my ways myself to be forgiven. This only way, only truth and only one path to eternal life fake story is similar with Islamic view point they too say Islam and Mohammad is the only truth only way and only redemption so I hardly see any difference between the two with strong paganistic ideology in the background and base of it all. HaShem has promised eternal life and resurrection of all in the world to come and the JEWISH Messaih has specific purpose which includes enlightening the world for HaShem and creating peace amongst the entire world and humanity. Jewish Messaih is not a deity but rather a Rebbennu guider and prophet and king. Anyone can have a communication or relationship with HaShem no deity is needed for that. I urge you to see things in a sense able manner yes may be Jesus and Mohammad could be prophets for the gentiles to ensure the seven Noahide laws that's very much possible but please do not see these two individuals as part of Jewish religious theology or any thing else. Jews have a clear path of their own in which we do not need any other ways or directions especially from gentiles so thank you brother your ways are for you and my/our way is for us let HaShem be our judge and guider.

@@insaanietihad-MSB with respect sir, HIS NAME IS YESHUA (WHO i believe is THE MESSIAH/HA MASHIACH) not "Jesus" when you call HIM "Jesus" you already starting this off as something that is "not for me but for the goyim/gentiles". but i tell you sir, to believe in YESHUA HA MASHIACH IS a very Jewish thing to do just as HIS disciples were all Jews who acknowledged that YESHUA IS THE MESSIAH/HA MASHIACH in fulfillment to The Jewish Tanakh. sadly it is the roman catholics and greek orthodox who try to separate The Faith from its very Jewish roots. roman catholicism is pagan but that is not what YESHUA HA MASHIACH founded with HIS 12 disciples. no is The Fulfillment for THE MESSIAH in Tanakh. even Moshe Rebbennu himself says "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ " so without blood sacrifice there is no forgiveness for sins/atonement. and for this very reason is what THE MESSIAH came here during HIS first coming to do. do not believe me ? in Daniel 9:24-27 its written: "+Seventy [e]weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, [f]To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint [g]the Most Holy. 25 “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The [h]street shall be built again, and the [i]wall, Even in troublesome times. 26 “And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall [j]be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 Then he shall confirm a [k]covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering." and this is also why, in my very poorly educated opinon, do believe there is no longer a Temple in Jerusalem. for ELOHIM has brought an end to sacrifices for sin through YEHSUA HA MASHIACH. and if you only believe in HIM for to save you/make atonement for you sins. than you too will have Eternal Life

In the Bible it is written in detail how to build the temple that King Solomon built, there are dimensions for every detail, for the walls, what the floor looked like and what it is made of, the tools they used, the dimensions of the altar and more. When the temple existed, there were four external walls, one of which was the Western Wall. The Romans destroyed the three walls but were unable to destroy the Western Wall. When you say "Western Wall" it means that you enter from the same courtyard so the wall faces west. What is left for us Jews (and this is written in the Talmud) is the Western Wall that was promised to the prophets that it would never be destroyed. This is a remnant of the Temple and that is why we pray at the Western Wall. The Western Wall was built around 20 BC, during Herod's reign, as part of the Temple. The Western Wall is much deeper in the ground, if you go underground you see the bottom of the stones, the size of each stone below is 15 meters. It is written in the Talmud that the Shechinah (the light of God) did not move from this place called the Western Wall.

@@marioluigi9599 *Genome-Wide Diversity in the Levant Reveals Recent Structuring by Culture* By Prof. M. Haber et. al. Beirut, Lebanon. We show that religious affiliation had a strong impact on the genomes of the Levantines. In particular, conversion of the region's populations to Islam appears to have introduced major rearrangements in populations' relations through admixture with culturally similar but geographically remote populations, leading to genetic similarities between remarkably distant populations like Jordanians, Moroccans, and Yemenis. Conversely, other populations, like Christians and Druze, became genetically isolated in the new cultural environment. Many Palestinians will say this is actually Buraq wall which term doesn’t exist in early Islamic writings but coined in 20th century. Previously the Muslims call this al-Mabka which refers to the place of Wailing for the Jewish people. They will also deny the existence of the Temple but the location of al-Aqsa Mosque was never known among the prophet’s companions up to the Caliph Umar al-Khatab who asked a Jewish rabbi convert to Islam named Ka’ab al-Ahbar where was the holy place of the Jewish people during the conquest of Jerusalem by Caliph Umar. And Ka’ab showed him the place of Even HaShtiyah (Foundation Stone). The caliph then declared this is the place in which the prophet did the Mi’raj (Ascension to the Heaven). He did thr prayer and declared a mosque there. Later on during Umayyad caliphate, they erect the building as how it is today. If the Temple never existed then the source of Ka’ab al-Ahbar is also uncountable and al-Aqsa Mosque is merely an invention of Umar al-Khatab based upon lies of a Jewish convert. This is what will happen when you keep on copying and pasting but you discredit the original source.

Islam was founded by Mohammed; and ask any Muslim what claim do they have to Jerusalem; the theory being; Mohammad flew overnight on a winged mule with breasts and a human face to Al Aksa mosque which was not even built until a century AFTER MOHAMMED DIED. Jesus who was a JEW, went up to the JEWISH TEMPLE to overturn the tables of the JEWISH MONEYLENDERS; and Mohammed was born 600 years AFTER JESUS DIED. If Mohammed ever existed, and there is doubt that he did; he could not have known about any mosque nor could Islam have existed before Christianity and Christianity did not exist before Judaism.

It was the Greco Romans who built the temple in Jerusalem to tax animal sacrifice. They Hellenised the Hasmonean and sent them out to convert the locals to pay taxes. It was the only reason why the Greco Romans were in Palestine. In Alexandra they built temples for the locals too. The Roman tax collector in Alexandra was Philo and the local Jewish population spoke Greek not Hebrew. In Palestine, Herod the Great did pretty much the same thing. The Romans scrapped the whole temple system when they officially made Christianity the only temple that could collect taxes in the collection plate when they invented Christianity like they did Judea

*Myths and facts about Jerusalem and Temple Mount* (from "Myths of the Middle East") One of the most popular lies that has become universally accepted as if it was an indisputable truth is the myth about Jerusalem being the third sacred place to Islam. It is quite rare to hear the honest truth, that *Jerusalem is the First and Only Holiest place to Judaism!* As a matter of fact, Jerusalem is not mentioned at all in the koran, and Muhammad has never been there (perhaps he did not even know about the existence of Jerusalem!). The tale about his dream flight has been related with Jerusalem in a very recent time for political strategy purposes. *1) The Islamic claim to the Temple Mount is very recent - Jerusalem's role as "The Third Holiest Site in Islam" in mainstream Islamic writings does not precede the 1930s. It was created by the grand mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini.* Most of the problems surrounding Jerusalem can be traced to two areas of dispute: the political area that asks Jerusalem to be the capital of both Israel and the hypothetic Palestine; the other and most contentious problem is the holiness of Temple Mount to both Judaism and Islam. The role Jerusalem has in the Hebrew Holy Scriptures is well known and not open to debate; however, there are varying opinions on the holiness of Jerusalem, specifically Temple Mount to Islam. Many if not most opinions that counter Islam's claim point out the Jerusalem is not mentioned in the qur'an and did not occupy any special role in Islam until recent political exigencies transformed Jerusalem into Islam's "third holy site". This falsehood was created by the grand mufti, Haj Amin al-Husseini. The mufti knew that nationalist slogans alone would not succeed in uniting the masses against arriving Jewish refugees; he therefore turned the struggle into a religious conflict. He addressed the masses clearly, calling for a holy war. Since the moment when he was appointed to the position of mufti, Haj Amin worked vigorously to raise Jerusalem's status as an Islamic holy centre.

*2) The Islamic claim to Jerusalem is false - There were no mosques in Jerusalem in 632 c.e. at the death of Muhammad... Jerusalem was [then] a Christian-occupied city.* ‒by Dr. Manfred R. Lehmann, writer for the Algemeiner Journal. Excerpts of the article originally published in the Algemeiner Journal, August 19, 1994‒ The muslim "claim" to Jerusalem is allegedly based on what is written in the koran, which although does not mention Jerusalem even once, nevertheless talks of the "furthest mosque" (in Sura 17:1): «Glory be unto Allah who did take his servant for a journey at night from the sacred mosque to the furthest mosque». But is there any foundation to the muslim argument that this "furthest mosque" (al-masujidi al-aqsa) refers to what is today called the Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem? The answer is, NO! In the days of Muhammad, who died in 632 of the Common Era, Jerusalem was a Christian-occupied city within the Byzantine Empire. Jerusalem was captured by caliph Omar only in 638 c.e., six years after Muhammad's death. Throughout all this time there were only churches in Jerusalem, and a church stood on the Temple Mount, called the Church of Saint Mary of Justinian, built in the Byzantine architectural style. The Aqsa mosque was built 20 years after the Dome of the Rock, which was built in 691-692 by caliph Abd el-Malik. The name "Omar mosque" is therefore false. In or around 711, about 80 years after Muhammad died, Malik's son, Abd el-Wahd ‒who ruled in 705-715‒ reconstructed the Christian-Byzantine Church of St. Mary and converted it into a mosque. He left the structure as it was, a typical Byzantine "basilica" structure with a row of pillars on either side of the rectangular "ship" in the centre. All he added was an onion-like dome on top of the building to make it look like a mosque. He then named it El-Aqsa, so it would sound like the one mentioned in the koran. Consequently, it is crystal clear that Muhammad could never have had this mosque in mind when he wrote the koran (if he did so), since it did not exist for another three generations after his death. Rather, as many scholars long ago established, it is logical that Muhammad intended the mosque in Mecca as the "sacred mosque", and the mosque in Medina as the "furthest mosque". So much for the muslim claim based on the Aqsa mosque. With this understood, it is no wonder that Muhammad issued a strict prohibition against facing Jerusalem in prayer, a practice that had been tolerated only for some months in order to lure Jews to convert to Islam. When that effort failed, Muhammad put an abrupt stop to it on February 624. Jerusalem simply never held any sanctity for the muslims themselves, but only for the Jews in their domain.

*3) The present Arabic name of Jerusalem is "Al-Quds"... but "Al-Quds" is an abbreviation for "The Jewish Temple"!* The Arabic name for Jerusalem is "Al-QuDS" (The Holy), which is abbreviation for another Arabic name used for Jerusalem until the last century, "Bayt al-MaQDeS" (The Holy House), since the 10th century c.e. The name "Bayt al-MaQDeS" is a translation of the *Hebrew "Beyt ha-MiKDaSH",* which means "House of Holiness", "Temple". But Islam has no Temple, only the Jews did. Thus the Arabic name for Jerusalem makes no reference to Muhammad's alleged trip to Heaven, but rather refers to the Jewish Temple! In fact, it can be seen that significant Islamic interest in the Temple Mount does not precede the Six-Day War in 1967. *The greatest lie ever told about Jerusalem* ‒by Emanuel A. Winston, a Middle East analyst & commentator; January 7, 2001‒ The 13th century Arab biographer Yakut noted: *«Mecca is holy to muslims; Jerusalem is holy to the Jews».* The terrorist PLO leader Yassir Arafat and the Arabs claimed the Holy Jewish Temple Mount and Jerusalem based upon one extraordinarily huge lie told over and over again. Here then is a brief history of the religious war against the Jewish people, the Jewish State of Israel and her 3000 year old Eternal Capital, Jerusalem. Would be conquerors invariably issue false claims to provide justification for their march to conquest. The more recent call to "Jihad" against the Jews of Israel was first called in 1947 after the U.N. partition in a "fatwa" (religious ruling) by the Saudis ‒ supposedly to save the Al-Aqsa mosque on the Temple Mount from the Jews. Thus, Yassir Arafat, with the full support of the Arab nations, later claimed the Jewish Temple Mount as the third holiest site for Islam - including all of Jerusalem. Therefore, as in the past, this claim has its root in a classic religious war - in addition to other spurious reasons offered. This myth of Jerusalem as Islam's third holiest city based upon the mythical ascension of Muhammad from Al-Aqsa to Heaven has grown exponentially in the recent telling since 1967. When you tell a Big Lie and repeat it often, it achieves credibility and legs of its own. In Islam, telling a lie to infidels for the sake of enlarging your own believers' faith or defeating the infidel is acceptable, even desirable.

Instead of derision I offer those pious Muslims of conviction that I will take them at their word. Especially those Muslims who say w/conviction that there was a holy event for them that descended to earth precisely where they say, Dome of the Rock according to their Holy Koran. As for those who hold sacred The Holy Bible I remind that no where is it written in scripture precisely where the Foundation Stone lay relative to certain modern markers...except we DO know that the Creator wouldn't orchestrate the Holy of Holies to be precisely where the later divinely inspired Koranic tradition also claims "The Holy Hotspot" to precisely be. DISCLAIMER: Just random opinionated un-anonymous KZfaqr believer, no tenured history Prof. myself; I'm no biblical scholar, either. For what its worth I have faith that God, the Creator laid out the Biblical Holy of Holies separate from his latter pious children's tradition (Muslims & Koran) and so, as an Omniscient God of Peace, has placement of a future 3rd Temple entirely between the Muslim's Dome and the Muslim's Al-Aksa Mosque. El Kas fountain = Hadrian Equestrian "Conqueror Over Judaism's Stone" Statue = Holy of Holies Foundation Stone. There is no biblical 'reference' to worship God at the Western(not "wailing)Wall, but at the Holy Temple. Since this wall is all that remains, it became what it is. Outside of the Bible, you can find references about praying at the wall face towards the temple/even ha--shtia in later Rabbinic texts.

I am a religious Jew from Israel and I will give you an answer. More than 2000 years before the Temple was destroyed, the Jewish priests would do the work in the Temple and would offer sacrifices to God to atone for the people of Israel for all their sins. Before the Temple was destroyed, the Jews had independence and the kingdom of Beit Yehuda. This temple was a place that unites all the people and it would make peace between the people of Israel and God. After the Temple was destroyed, the Romans scattered the Jews all over the world and the Jews no longer had the place to atone for all their sins by the sacrifices. We therefore have the need to come and pray in a place through which God has forgiven us of our sins. And we hope that in the future to come this place will be rebuilt by God and bring unity among the people of Israel and there will be peace in all the world. The reason that today there is no protection for the Jewish people in the whole world and that there is anti-Semitism is because the Temple has not yet been rebuilt.

TELL THEM TO READ THE JEWISH PROPHET ISAIAH 53 & ASK WHO IS THAT REFERRING TO.......
@jtmiller9291
@jtmiller9291 2 жыл бұрын
It's referring to us Jews. In several verses in the previous chapters of Isaiah, the prophet clearly states that the servant is Israel (i.e. - the Jews as a whole). "But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend; you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest corners, saying to you, “You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off.” (41.8-9) See also Isaiah 44.1-2, 44.21, 45.4, 48.20, and 49.3. For most of this passage (Isaiah 52.13-53.13), the narrator is GENTILE "kings of nations" (52.15). In the messianic age, they are totally astounded that the Jews, whom they have always despised, are vindicated and enjoy the promised salvation of G-d. They had believed that the Jews' suffering was punishment from G-d for rejecting their religions. But now they realize that Israel suffered AS A RESULT OF (i.e. - "from" NOT "for" in 53:5) their nations’ sins (e.g. - inquisition, pogroms, holocaust). The first thing they say is, “who would have believed such a thing?” (53.1). The shock that the gentiles will experience, and express in the messianic age, when they realize that the Jews were right all along, is a common theme in the bible: "Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days ten men from nations of every language shall take hold of a Jew, grasping his garment and saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that G-d is with you.” (Zechariah 8.23). "O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, "surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?" (Jeremiah 16.19-20).

I love the statement that says The Holy Temple should have been built by a GOD not by man and also the last person to speak carefully and peacefully. If all Israelis were like him I'm sure Muslims would allow Jews to pray at the temple hill complex, or it may even be allowed to worship in the Al-Aqsa mosque, we Muslims outside of politics are well aware of the similarities between Judaism and Islam because the two are too similar like brothers who come from the same father even I think Yahweh is Alloh too. The idea that it's an important holy structure is probably based on the fact that when Arabs allow Jewish people to repopulate Jerusalem, 600 years after the Roman expulsion, they didn't have Wikipedia to look up the history, assumed that wall was something important, instead of a monument to the Roman occupation, and started treating some wall as an idol.

I yearn for the day when the theological leaders of the Abrahamic faiths realize that the temple mount is to be shared and God can be worshipped by everyone in the same space without restrictions to anyone. The Abrahamic faiths need to unite and reconcile their differences, find a way to coexist, and work together toward trying to redeem our transgressions in the eyes of the Lord and yearn for our return to Eden. Muslims worship at Al-Jami' al-Qibli, a mosque overlooking the Kaaba in Mecca, so those who pray there have their backs to the Dome of the Rock where the Temple of God once stood. The Jews worship at the Western Wall so that their faces face the East. They all worshiped other gods. _17 Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? _*_Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence,_*_ and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose._ The guilt of the people in Jerusalem was not light by doing all that. Plus they all resort to violence against each other to fight for authority over the Temple in Jerusalem. *_18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them._* The destruction of Jerusalem is imminent because they have insulted YHWH the Hashem.

Facts about Islam, Judaism, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount …. 1. Never in the history of the world was Jerusalem ever a capital city of any Arab country, certainly not the imaginary nation of "Palestine". 2. Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Quran, over 500 times in the Tanakh. 3. Muslims face Mecca to pray, while Jews face Jerusalem to pray. 4. Mohamad was not alive when Al Aksa Mosque was built, It was built a century AFTER he died. 5. The gold domed mosque is not Al-Aqsa, the black domed mosque to the south facing Mecca is. Muslims turn their behinds to “their” mosque and pray towards Mecca. 6. The gold domed mosque is a monument, that was placed there specifically because it was the location of the destroyed Jewish temple. 7. The mosque located on the Temple Mount was originally called Bayt al-Muqaddas (in Arabic) which literally means built on the Mikdash (the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem). 8. The night journey is not mentioned on any of the inscriptions on the gold domed mosque (however the inscriptions do include anti-Christian slogans). Muslims believe in the MYTH of Mohamed’s night ride on a winged mules with a human face and breasts to the mosque which again, was not even built until a CENTURY AFTER HE DIED. 9. Even the Wakf acknowledged the Jewish history and temple in their official 1925 Supreme Muslim Council (Wakf) Guidebook to the Temple Mount. (Page 4/paragraph 2 and page 16/paragraph 2). The same description is in the 1950 official Wakf version as well. So even after Israel's establishment they remained true to the facts of history. unwatch.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/1925-wakf-temple-mount-guide.pdf

Dude. Rather than linking some random website, I highly recommend you read chapter 17 of the Quran. It’s called Al-Isra a.k.a The Night Journey. God tells the story of the Children of Israel during the time of Moses in this chapter too. So no, Isra and Miraj is not a myth. Also this winged creature has a name: the Buraq. And also, Al-Aqsa was Islam’s first qibla, so obviously the mosque was there when Muhammad received his revelation early on. Muslims are not dumb. We are aware of the Temple you speak of and we know of the plans to excavate it, build it etc. Muslims also know that the yellow domed mosque is called dome of the rock and the black domed mosque is the al-aqsa mosque however the whole compound is part of al-aqsa mosque. Muslims don’t turn their backs on any mosque because we pray from all parts of the world so it really depends where you are praying from. You need to stop spewing fake stories about Islam because it’s getting kinda stale to do that - you’re going to make more people keen on researching and eventually coming home.

Herod wants to kill you.” 32 He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.’ 33 In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day-for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 34 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 35 Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’ ” Luke 13:22-35

Praying at the wall is no different than worshipping false idols. REPENT of your idolatry This isn't even the temple. 👇 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. MATTHEW 24:1-2

: *Genome-Wide Diversity in the Levant Reveals Recent Structuring by Culture* Prof. Haber et.al. Beirut, Lebanon. " In particular, conversion of the region's populations to Islam appears to have introduced major rearrangements in populations' relations through admixture with culturally similar but geographically remote populations, leading to genetic similarities between remarkably distant populations like Jordanians, Moroccans, and Yemenis. Conversely, other populations, like Christians and Druze, became genetically isolated in the new cultural environment. *We reconstructed the genetic structure of the Levantines and found that a pre-Islamic expansion Levant was more genetically similar to Europeans than to Middle Easterners."*
