That scenes is actually the reason why I'm now more sure that Welt got weaker. In the HI3rd manga, Welt has this special trick he uses for defense. An Imaginary barrier that pretty much blocks everything. So the fact that he didn't use that, suggest that the only power he really has left is creating Eden Stars.

For these trying to understand Aventurine gambled on the fact Acheron could kill him by bypassing the harmony protection, he knew he couldn't win, thats why he made sure to setup everything to force Acheron to fight him seriously, with her emanator power and her blade to ensure his death as normaly you would just wake up if you tried to die This allowed him to access an other secret level of Penacony and prove it was not possible to die in dreams, so anyone killed by Something unto death cannot be dead either, this makes the plot more complicated He's now closer from the legacy of the watchmaker as "dying" seemed to be a part of the process

These comments are honestly crazy. Obviously Aventurine himself knows that he wouldn't win against Acheron. We were literally told that this is his plan: his grandest death. To put on his "final" performance. He wanted to prove that 'real death' does not exist in Penacony's Dreamscape. Aventurine's story arc tells us how he's always gambling with his life all the time; doing crazier things each time. There are also people saying that he's dead which I highly doubt it. Acheron didn't go all out on him and she told him to "Wake up from this dream and go to where you should be. Your gamble... is not over yet."

Essentially he found an alternative way to "die" in the dream rather than at the Meme Death's hand is how I saw it. Dying normally like from falling in the dreamworld doesn't work because of the safety The Family has provided for Penaconians. However dying from anomalies (Eg. an Emanator, a Meme from the dream world, or other incredibly powerful "Aeon-like" ways) will "kill" you in the dream world and send you into the sea that lays outside of Penacony's safe walls.

It's interesting that Aventurine called the Lance of Preservation the "Architect's flawed stone". It's probably a reference to his and the other IPC elite's Cornerstone that allows them to use the power of an Emanator of Qlipoth. This hints that the power the Trailblazer receives from the Aeons, might actually be on the level of an emanator.

Not even close. Aventurine stone was shattered way before he enter Penacony and lost a huge chunk of its power yet still managed to completely no diff Trailblazer. Even at its max power Aventurine still won't be stronger than Diamond who gave him his power, that's how big the powergap between TB and an actual Emanator is.

when I see the huge AoE and how massive that red streak of slash, I was like "Duuude, that is just ONE f-ing swing!" and then I proceed to rewatch the scene, I notices that she also flicks water from the puddle beneath her with her blade. For those wondering, yeah Aventurine lived but from my understanding, he found his real path to be Nihility? The creator of this video cut an EXTREMELY important conversation between Aventurine and Acheron before that little cutscene at the end. Acheron said she cleared the Harmony curse off Aventurine so he won’t die. He will be dwelling in the Abyss of Nihility until he comes back. Though this means Aventurine will be absent from events, atleast he’ll come back some day. “Your gamble is far from over. Go back now.” -Acheron In the last cutscene he was saying goodbye to his past but the cut context just makes it looks like Aven died lmfao.

What i get was that the only way to get to the watchmaker's Legacy was to die in the dream, because the Family cut you off when you were close to death, so Aventurine uses Acheron Power to pass that barrier as she Said " You were Lucky i was here" and "I took off the Harmony from you", so Aventurine is not actually dead, He is in a deeper part of the dream, even because Acheron and Ratio Said "good Lucky, survive"

Yep. His whole entire plan seems to be about "dying" and then "returning" in some way or another. But there's also a possibility that his idea of "returning" is simply sending something to reality that proves there's death in the Dreamscape. I'd wager that the Hat Imaginary Type TB uses might actually Aventurine's, and that Hat holds something that Aventurine found on the other side.

@allentayoto7387 Returning? His whole arc was to drive the idea in about how he always gambles for his life, fighting tooth and nail only to see the next great gamble he has to take. There is no "returning" planned, he knew Acheron's abilities is able to bring true and permanent death esp by how she was able to kill ifrit, an energy based lifeform. He gambled that she would use her blade on him. He thinks it might be nice to be able to rest, to meet his mother and sister in the afterlife, but as the last survivor blessed by his religion he of all people was not allowed to die so easily. Which is why he tests fate every time. And always comes out victorious. But we all know he's on a path to ruining himself with each greater gamble- even if this one works out, he'd have to answer for his cracked stone, and gambling with the 2 other heartstones. But that's a gamble for another day.

Welt can control his power and also acheron is stronger than welt proof is that welt with an xianjou luofou general(jing yuan) basically an emanator of lan, a high elder vidyadara and the rest of the astral express crew struggled ti beat an emanator of nanook. While acheron easily one shot one shot someone with 3 cornerstone(power of 3 emanators) of qlipoth(aeon stronger than nanook). Plus the nihility is just op its stronger than even some previous era aeons like fuli(managed to annihilate all records of takamagehara and izumo in the garden of recollection with ease) Unless we’re considering hi3 welt in that case i think my point still stands bcs acherons blade alone without the nihility self annihilator emanator powers was basically forged using 12 divine keys. We dont know if the hsr divine keys have the same power as the hi3 ones but considering they were both forged for a similar purpose id assume so

"Only by casting aside reason, does one truly gamble" that's just another throwaway line for the normal person; but for gambling addicts or former gambling addicts , this hurts deep speaking from experience, gambling addiction is real. It hijacks your brain and the dopamine hit of winning can turn the shittiest day into the best. If I was feeling down, all I had to do was gamble and win, it was so easy to be "happy" and forget the turd sandwhich day you had. it came to a point that I was throwing caution into the wind and was able to justify the money I was pouring into gambling. Money is for spending, money is to make you happy and this makes me happy. Common sense and reason is cast aside once it hooks you. well anyway that's just a little anecdote and warning to avoid gambling

That’s the point, she’s a reference to raiden mei(though in the livestream they point out that the horns are different). She is also shown with horns in all flashbacks before her planet was destroyed, in several trailers, with one showing her horns disappearing.

Match my wager - aventurine line hits differently now after understanding the lore better. Since aventurine is betting his life in proving real death does not exist in the dreamscape, he was asking acheron to match his wager and acheron accepts. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it the reason why acheron is hesitant to unsheath her sword unless its the last resort is that her sword is being powered by her life force so matching bets between them is laying down both their lives on the table..

im pretty sure what aventurine meant about "match my wager" isn't about the stakes of his bet but the outcome. he wants acheron to prove, with him, that death isn't real in the dreamscape. about the sword-- her life doesn't really depend on it. she doesn't unsheathe it unless necessary because it is the vessel through which she commands her power as an emanator, and also through which her memories are stored. clearly she has a ton of traumatizing and awful memories, as seen in the dance she did with black swan, and unsheathing her sword forces her to experience those emotions again (which is probably why she cries in her ult animation, for example)

Aventurine wanted to go on the real side of penacony. He wanted to go to the place where the legacy or watchmaker was. He wasnt in penacony (the current one) but rather on the abyss (the real side of penacony) his goal isnt that of what the preservation but it only align with his goal although he does feel grateful for them that is why he is moving in the way that will benefit them. Using the IPC in his more grandeus plan just to what? I wager that it was to at least exact revenge against fate (bc avign seems to always repay blood debt) or do a time travel. (Just my opinion though on how the story is unfolding. It seems like penacony is different and that world actually matters)

All the fabrication, illusion of penaconny shatters, allowing aventurine to slip through the gap and possibly proceed to the real penaconny. There is also the thing that Dr. Ratio gives him that he should only use if he really thinks that he is on a pinch. Everything up to that point is a gamble that is why he never uses the bottle yet. "If penaconny has a beautiful dream there is also a nightmare. After all these illusions, one needs to wake up". A rough sketch but I think this is the theme that they are aiming for.
