In 2013 I flew over to the US from Australia, bought an F150 Flareside in Michigan, then zig-zagged across the States. Left Albuquerque and my front right wheel fell off just outside Flagstaff. Got a tow back into town, tried to replace the wheel bearing late on a Saturday night in a car park without the right tools. Finished at about 2am, got a ways out of Flagstaff and the wheel fell off again (needed to replace the stub axle). Got a tow back, slept in the car. Put the Effie on Craigslist in the morning, sold it 45 minutes later, took a cab to the airport, hired a GMC Tahoe, and got to Las Vegas about 4am, via a 15 minute stop at the Grand Canyon. Good fun.

Thanks Jeff for support the truckers I been doing these 11 yrs and telling u its not easy to be a trucker theres a alot of idiots out there and there alot of them dont give a crap about us they are rude flipping us off cut us off I had one flip me off while im passing a box truck and I had other one cut me off i almost done pit remover on a bowling pin with a 80,000 pound bowling ball

I drive a Kenworth W900L when my boss needs drives. I usually do office work. But since I have my CDL, its nice to get out and I've done long drives throughout interstates. This is teeth clenching driving lol but it's so awesome. I need to get this sim and do this!

My grandfather use to drive a big rig. He use to take illegal trips, like overweight loads and such. He called it wildcatting. He would know where all the weight stations were at. So he had to takes detours around them. He would always be on the radio asking if there were smokies up ahead. I remember he would be doing over 100 mph for long stretches. He also hard a switch for his taillights, so if he saw a cop he could hit the switch and then hit the breaks then the taillights would not get brighter. Not sure how much of that you could do in game though.

I tried American truck simulator in VR and it is very relaxing and it’s just amazing to take it all In. Until... ....some one merges in to your lane AND SLAMS ON THE BRAKES. Lol anyway I love it it’s so relaxing with the force feedback wheel and just how realistic it is it makes me want to fall asleep

Now remember Jeff to use "Men's cruise control"! That means your cruise control basically consists of keeping your foot flat to the board at all times! As for cornering fast, if you are smooth with the wheel you can get some pretty insane cornering and entry speeds, but you got to push it a bit, but not as far as rolling. Once you get the "inlift" where the inside tire of your truck lifts up and your revs start going up, you are at the limit of what you can do :D

Hey Jeff, really happy for you and all the successes you've accomplished thus far. I'm actually from Maui, born and raised here my whole life. I myself have Hawaiian and Filipino heritage. I will say that you will absolutely love the island, there is soo much to do. Sometimes us locals will take our home for granted because we see the beauty here each and every day. If I could make a recommendation, definitely try to drive the entire island, (it'll take an entire day, but probably two if you stop to hike and take pictures). Another good place is La Perouse Bay on the southern part of the island past Wailea-Makena. Its lava fields as far as you can see, and a great place to look at the stars at night. Definitely looking forward to seeing some of your content from here if you decide to vlog it. Much Aloha and appreciation from myself and all your subscribers from Hawai'i.

Hawaii for your anniversary is a great idea, going to Maui, an even better idea! I'm born and raised on Oahu (truck driver too haha) and even I appreciate the other islands more than my own lol.

Jeff, love the drive'n and I hope you and your wife get to go to Hawaii soon. Per NPR news for Hawaii last year, Hawaii had a 14 day quarantine in your hotel room if anybody got to the island & if anybody left to go in the hallway during the 14 days, the front desk had to report it to the local authorities. I'd say go anyways if you both have the $$. After the 14 day quarantine, visit the places like you said. Don't forget to visit Duke's Restaurant/bar on Waikiki Beach. They serve a pretty mean Mai Tai!!
