JFK GRAVE AND ETERNAL FLAME: ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY (4K)

The John F. Kennedy (JFK) Eternal Flame in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, is a Presidential memorial at the gravesite of the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy. It is called the Eternal Flame because the flame is lit 24 hours a day, every day. However, the flame has not been "eternal" since the beginning. Another little-known fact is that there are three other gravestones here, surrounding JFK's gravestone.

Can’t imagine the strength of Jackie Kennedy formulating the plan and arrangements for that construction. She seemed to tirelessly accomplish such grace and so much effort was done by her to commentate her husband. Ordering special lettering and funeral cards for thousands. What a beautiful site that is.

I had the tremendous privilege of visiting this gravesite when I was about 13 or 14 years of age. As much as I had an appreciation for JFK back then, it has only grown over the past 4 plus decades.

for Jackie's marker to have Onassis in it and layed next to JFK's marker, JFK wouldn't of liked that....when Jackie and her sister lee Radziwill vacationed on Onassis yacht the Christina. JFK sent a telegram stating more Caroline and less Onassis... yeah she was free to remarry but to me it's an insult to president Kennedy's memory

Bobby Kennedy is buried in Arlington National Cemetery around the corner from President Kennedy.

If you're going to speak on public matters...have your facts straight....it was not a group of catholic school children...it was a Catholic nun herself who was trying to bless the grave and accidentally threw to much water at the eternal flame...(although I can't fathom why she would throw water on the eternal flame in the first place)
