IS a synopsis of history narrated by Martin Sheen, from the time Dwight D Eisenhower makes his exiting speech to the assassination of JFK. Directed by Oliver Stone..Mr Stone asks the burning question. IF it was a lone gunman then why all the secrecy?
This clip contains copyrighted images and sound. It is an educational study and falls under the "fair use" provisions of UK and USA copyright law and is there fore not a copyright infringement

Absolutely stunning. The mixture of original footage with what Stone filmed. The last few seconds where JFK pulls up to the camera, you hear the rifle load and fire, then the birds fly away and cut to the news report. It just breaks your heart into a thousand pieces but as an example of cinema,....well it's truly a masterclass in film-making.

It was never going to win that, far too many truth bombs in the film and too politically controversial for softly liberal Hollywood. Deservedly picked up technical Oscars.

The movie has many amazing thing... Acting Directing Sounds Script But the movie in my opinion is the best due to the cinematography as well as editing, Especially how it switches between Garrison explaining in colour, Oswald and others in black and white during flashbacks, and the archives with Kennedy

To me its just a piece of entertainment in which its moments are better than the whole. And no one can play the drummers salute like the Scots dragoon guards. Was Kennedy related too Diamond Joe Quimby mayor of Springfield and Jackie Kennedy related too marge Simpson?
