We know much about the speeches President Kennedy gave during his time in office, but what about the ones he never gave. Speechwriter and author Jeff Nussbaum joins us to discuss his new book about how some undelivered speeches in the 1960s, including two by President Kennedy, could have changed history.

This video is perhaps the most important one I have listened to in the past two years. I will buy the book, read it thoroughly, and give the author's points careful consideration. Thank you both.

The "Watchman on the Wall" speech was to be delivered the day of The Assassination, not the next day, at the Dallas Trade Mart.

We never pronounced it "Snik" back in the day, we called it the SNCC pronouncing each letter or we called it by its full name, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.

This is so interesting somethings I knew about and most I didn’t of the Kennedy’s family. Several years ago, I don’t recall what year but I do have the documents I’ve done ancestry and found out through it that I have so many ethnicities about myself I never knew.I never nor my family never in a million years would have thought but only assumed that I would have only African within me as a black women. What’s crazy after getting the results and doing further research in pulling up documents I found out that my mother great grandfather was name John Kennedy born in the early a little past 1800s married a black woman I believe I can’t recall because the documents aren’t in front of me but through their love they birth a daughter who’ s my mom grandmother but her grandmother is no longer living. So, to name a few other than the African race the Irish, Scotland and Wales with a small percentage among other ethnicities fell upon me through my DNA. I’m not saying that I’m related to JFK President but I and my family trying to figure out is their any connection from my mom great grandfather of possibly being connected. I always wanted to do ancestry DNA because I always wanted to know where I came from and I will tell you I don’t regret ever doing this. I personally grew up with both of my real parents and know both sides of my family at least a lot of them. But because of what I discovered so far although I still have further research to do of the other greats grandparents of non black great grandparents photos I’ve seen so far. A few who already done ancestry we are trying to compare documentation/ notes as much as possible in case someone is missing some information they can add to their family tree to align to connect of knowing their family history. I can only speak through my documents and from being told of the ancestors by my mom and aunt and what all they knew that everything I have are all connected/ tied from the greats grandparents to the kids on down and so far with all the info I have are correct.

This wasn’t about the speech nor was the speech read. Love the channel, very disappointed about this video. I was so excited to hear the speech. Lastly, I don’t appreciate hearing previous presidents being disparaged, no matter who they are.
