Cutting note peaks with freq grab in Pro-Q3 and serial compressing nearly everything. I bet if you compare some tracks level matched to the unprocessed versions it sounds better/more intact without processing.

Yeah I was wondering why he uses the compressors on the sample drums but I guess it's just to catch peaks cause he's using non character compressors

@@TEEZIO1 Yo Teezio! You mean to tell me that the VT-5 (while in the off position) is still coloring the sound/ hitting the tubes? I've been using mine for a while now but this never occurred to me to try this. Do you usually prefer the off position or is it just a move you do for louder material?

Gold clip , is it better than StandardCLIP or Kazrog KClip 3? Because i can see big hype arround Schwabe Gold Clip .. How did he spectrum grab multiple frequencies at 32:10 and the spectrum stay up? Every time i grab 1 frequency that spectrum disappears and i have to hold the mouse at the bottom again to get it to reappear in pro q 3

theres a button on the bottom of the pro-q where you can freeze the spectrum at the time when you toggle it on, you might be able to click on the graph itself in the purple area or while holding shift/ctrl maybe

Gotta click and hold while it's in spectrum grab mode and wait for it to turn blue, then you can grab multiple frequencies

Bro at 3:46 u Started to eq the drums. My question is how do I know that the amount of the low Kick frequencies Are enough or not enough? So that it is banging on my phone like in the car . I Need to know how much low is Perfect. Or do u Go just out for feeling? If it feels like a good Kick it is good ? How do I know ?

On phones kicks hit at a different frequency range. Like more in the 200-300hz range that’s where all the compression helps. He’s not overcompressing

I think the Compressor is emphasizing the transients to make it sound punchier, not really because it's too dynamic since it's a sample anyways.
