Hello this is Yoojin ^^
This video is about how to use a hair stick.
Try a simple and quick updo with a hair stick!
It'll be useful when you want to hold your hair in place when you don't have any elastics ^^
I tried the hair stick after watching Jang Man-wol (IU) in Hotel del Luna and decided to make a video. IU's hair stylist for Hotel del Luna did a wonderful job! Her hair looks gorgeous! Well, her hair looks more gorgeous since IU is so beautiful. Let's get hooked on hair sticks!

I’ve often done the bun with a pencil if I forget to bring a hair elastic to class but the French twist styles are super cool, I didn’t know it was possible to do that!

전 머리를 끝까지 말아주고 8자로 꼰다음 끝머리는 안쪽으로 감싸주고 오른쪽 바깥머리에서 두피쪽으로 끝머리를 감싸듯이 나올때는 왼쪽바깥머리 중간으로 하시면 뭔가 사극비녀 머리처럼 깔끔한 비녀머리 돼요. 저도 긴 생머리라 엄청 자주 했어요

머리 묶으면 계속 등에 닿아서 따갑고 머리끈으로 똥 머리하면 머리카락이 너무 당기고 아팠거든요ㅠㅠ 갑자기 비녀가 생각나서 볼펜을 꽂아 봤는데 어느 정도 고정돼서 영상을 찾아봤거든요ㅠㅠㅠ 고정 너무 잘되고ㅠㅠㅠ 바로 풀리는 것도 넘나 간지나버리고ㅠㅠ 막대기 하나로 머리를 묶는다는 생각을 안 해봐서 그런지 너무 신기해요ㅠㅠ

와 미술학원에서 맨날 붓으로 꽂고있고 연필로 꽂고 했었는데 커트하고선 못한 머리...진짜 지속력 좋고 편해서 자주했는데 못하니까 아쉽네요..언젠가 다시 기르고 해봐야겠어욬ㅋㅋㅋ

아 비녀 진짜 하고싶었는데 슈퍼 뼛속까지 직모라 그런지 비녀 꽂아도 스르륵 풀리더라구여..ㅠㅠㅠ 심지어 똥머리 고무줄 3개이용해서 묶어도 피슉피슉 후루룩 풀어져서 똥머리도 못하고 다녔는데 지금은 단발로 똑 잘라버려서 비녀는 영상으로 대리만족이나 해야겄다,,

my hair is quite thick and heavy so i frequently struggle to do styles including choptsticks (as such) despite a fair amount of practice. this tutorial had changed things for me a bit, the method is really good! thank you, Yoojin.

I have these hair sticks lying around. Back in the early 2,000’s when asian style was starting to influence American style. I always loved them. Just never knew how to use them. I’m so happy i came across this.

Fabulous!! I have naturally curly hair, very curly, and I get tired of the same old thing so sometimes I straighten it with a large barrel curling iron. It keeps the body without all those curls. This video has really helped me out tremendously with using hair sticks!! I used them many years ago for a short while, but this tutorial is waaay better than anything else I’ve seen! Thanks for posting this!!

I’m so glad it was helpful🤗 It was a good idea to use a large curling iron to lightly straighten the hair while maintaining the curl. You can use everyday stuff like pencils, pens, and chopsticks ad hair sticks. Hope you use it more often.😊🤗

머리 비녀로틀어올리고 헤드턴하다가 비녀가 날라가서 꽂히거보곤 작년여름에는ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 비녀머리못하고다녔는데 올해는조심히다시 하고댕길려고 복습하고있어요!!

First, your hair is absolutely gorgeous! I have long hair but not as thick and beautiful looking (anymore, thanks to dying my hair all the time lol) as yours...secondly thank you! I’ve always used chopsticks in my hair but they never seemed to stay and the bun would fall after 20 minutes or I would stab my neck all day lol I see what I was doing wrong, one slight adjustment and BAM, perfection. So thank you for this tutorial.

I watched so many videos from chinese tiktok, and I followed them accordingly, but it doesn't seemed to work at all I thought that I'm just that stupid and couldn't get it done well After watching your video, it seems that I'm wrong I just need to watch one time and do it one time, and I managed to did it! Thank you so much for this video! I wondered how to do that, and now I know :) I'm wearing the first bun right now, it's super comfortable and pretty. Now I'm gonna buy some hairpins, because I feel like I'll wear this style often :) BTW, Hotel del Luna is one of my favourite kdramas, partially because of Man Wol's outfits :D

My hair is super thin and shorter than yours in this video, so I wasn't sure it would work. Turns out both styles work!! I haven't used only a stick to put my hair up before and had no idea it would feel so secure... even more secure than an elastic. Just got a hair stick with a cute charm on the end and excited that it's so easy to use. (But I know I'll be doing this plenty with whatever pens or pencils I have on hand.) Thank you!

아! 나도 머리숱이 많고 길어서 평생 볼펜을 비녀로 사용했는데 두번째 스타일은 처음봐요! It’s so pretty! I’m going to try the second style as soon as my hair is long enough again. :) I had resorted to long braids when my hair was down to my waist but I think I want to bring back the hair sticks I had in college!

You can flip the end over the stick, it will come out shorter on the other side.
