Over Weekend Road Drive, we thought to go for a long drive using a Jeep Compass. Delhi To Jaipur Road Drive was very beautiful on this road. We covered the entire distance in 3 hours.
In Jaipur, we went to Jhalana Leopard Safari. Jaipur's best tourist attraction. Jhalana Leopard Safari is an unexplored tourist destination in Jaipur Rajasthan. On 2 Dec, we visited Jhalana Leopard Safari Park in Jaipur, Rajasthan. We were extremely grateful to our Safari Guide and Driver for a breathtaking experience in the park. In less than 2 hours, we saw Two leopards and a cub.
The Jhalana Leopard Safari is divided into 3 zones. One can use a single permit to visit all 3 zones in a single safari.
Our first leopard was a big dominant male of Zone 1 of the park. We heard a few Nilgai calls when we finally saw him sitting in the bushes. He looked in a mood to hunt and even walked for a few minutes. It looked like he is going to stalk a deer or a Nilgai to hunt but then decided to rest again. We believe this was maybe because his cover was blown and he wanted to wait for the night before making the kill.
The second sighting was a leopard mother and her cub sitting on a tree. This was beautiful to watch in the wild. After around 15 minutes, we saw her climbing down the tree. There was a peacock in the vicinity, which the leopard cub started stalking. The peacock gave alarm calls to alert other animals.
Right before we were about to exit the park, we saw the Same male leopard near the bush of our jeep. The light was really bad and we could not capture him clearly but the thrill was unparalleled.
