JUNE 14 2018 I HAD AN EPIDURAL INJECTION.. IT SUCKED.. NOT MUCH TO SAY ABOUT THAT. ON JUNE 15, 2018 DANIEL HAD AN APPOINTMENT AT THE HOSPITAL TO HAVE HIS BACLOFEN PUMP REFILLED AND RE PROGRAMMED.. THEN IN THE AFTERNOON HIS NEW BED ARRIVED... IT IS A VERY SPECIAL GIFT FROM SOME DEAR FRIENDS....
THIS CHANNEL IS MY VIEW OF THE WORLD AS THE MOTHER OF A VERY SEVERELY DISABLED SON. Vlogging, sharing, and offering encouragement. The inside world of having a child who is 100% dependent on me for everything. We are a family of 5 in Connecticut, working hard...dealing with many struggles. Sharing humor and love.

Cool new bed Daniel ☺ I hope you are feeling better Julie. You are a great advocate. I try to advocate for myself but do not really know how and sometimes I do want to give up. It is like being in a fight that you can not win because you can not even tell them what you need and they do not hear you when you do find a way to tell them.

That whole “can’t can” talk was very useful Julie!!! I’m very bad when it comes to saying “can’t this can’t that” I’m getting better but sometimes I go in to a “can’t fog”

Oh ouch on the epidural! I had one..the one and only one I will ever have and I passed out too. It didn't even help me. I hope you feel better!

They let you drive after a spinal injection? When I had mine done my husband had to be there to drive. Series of 3 or 4, but they really helped.

Jules I needed.. That "I can" talk.. Like really badly.. Because with a limited Government cheque.. I never have money.. But I am rich in friends, help, Attendent SUPPORT Workers in my assisted Living apartment building. My buddy said.. You may be poor in money but I can impervise.. I made my therapy baby into. Baby Jesus and I made it from stuff around.. And I have a mo mo.. And a sheet... For my head.. I will be Mary.. As the Christmas miracle . Guelph Independent Living is having a Superhero picnic tomorrow in a park.. So excited.. .. And God gave me this independence with help.. And my friends.. Family.. All wonderful! Also you are not a baby..needles like those freak me out!! I have passed out getting my blood test .. Needles are hard.. Babies are tough.. I mean they have to communicate with body language and cries.. And gabbering.. The bed.. Is awesome.. Like a tank.. ..water.. Water.. Pictures around the wall.. Of thr new amazing bed.. I want one of those big pictures of the sea life like he has.. I can.. Make something like that.. I painted picture of sea horses.. You are tenacious.. You are so strong.. Your pain.. Your life, work.. Wow.. You are an inspiration Jules... And I am like you. I cant loose weight.. Because food I can eat.. And it is my enjoyment too.. Love God that gave us taste buds!! Food is nuturting and is communion with others!! Love ya Julie!
