Anjana lives a wealthy lifestyle with her dad, Dwarka Nath. Once she meets with local villager, Jhumroo, and both fall in love with each other. Jhumroo's mother, Kamla, approves their relation. However, when Dwarka Nath gets angry on this and within no time announces Anjana's marriage with his Manager, Ramesh. Heart-broken Jhumroo goes to meet Anjana, who tells him that she loves him, but can'gt go against her father. What Jhumroo and Anjana do not know is that she is not Dwarka Nath's daughter, but is the daughter of Kamla, and abducted at a very young age. Are they really brother and sister? Watch the movie.

Such a wonderful movie!! Really loved the characters of Kishore da and Madhula! There's one messed up thing that I noticed.. Dwarka and Bihari Chacha are brothers. Anjana is the daughter of Dwarka . Jhumroo is the son of Bihari Chacha . In the end , Jhumroo and Anjana married each other, who were "COUSINS" by relation of the movie..... it just messed up a bit... Because marrying cousin is a bit "odd" ... Btw .,, Really loved the performances of every character!! Love from 2020 ....for 1960s golden era!!

A lot of comedies are perfect. Acting and cast are good..But story is quite predictable with a single suspense running through the whole movie. Movie revolves around two major location making the movie psychologically not very happening..Movie is surely good for that era..and considered a classic today but not in par with superhits of those era...But worth watching once..
