簡易的な治具を製作してパイプえぐり加工を行いました。
正式な加工方法ではありませんがアイデアの種にしていただけたら幸いです。
I made a simple jig and did tube notching.
It's not a formal processing method, but I hope you can use it as a seed for your ideas.

一年前まで物が出来ていく面白さのみで動画を拝見しておりましたが高専の実習などで旋盤などを扱っていくうちに最近では実習で学んだ事が出てくる面白さを感じています笑実習で安全にかつ正確に加工できるようこの動画を使って復習をしながらこれからも楽しみたいです笑

パイプレーザーに発注しないとき、ホールソーとグラインダーでやってたけど、ここまで高精度なら楽でいいですね〜。出てくる道具が全部キレイで凄いです。

Nice job...Now take your hole saw and cut it in to 2 pieces somewhere quite near the base. then weld TIG weld in a piece of tube the same dimensions as the hole saw, you can extend the length of the hole saw as long as you wish. Then you don't need to turn your part around to finish the cut. I have used this many times to drill through car chassis's for roll cages installations etc.

Because cam at the carriage, that why when carriage move it looks like the carriage is static and chuck is moving left and right.

Cool. You know it is not much problem to make those hole cutters longer. You cut it up, you get a pipe in same or near similar diameter, you put them in a V block to line them up and weld them together and then face it in the lathe. Much easier than constantly having to turn the material...

I would never do it this way cause it takes too dam long and I would get fired. I get the same result from just using a copping sander and it's way faster, but I still enjoyed watching this video.

I did this years ago. The clamp was different. The saw can be cut and welded to a pipe and turned smooth. Making it deeper. My clamps are specific to the stock. The stock slide through and then you bolt it tight. Kinda like a seat post. You can also cut off the wast and continue cutting without moving the clamp.

My clamp was a bit of angle migged to a bit of square steel. I clamped it in the tool post[my old lathe was pretty big]. My cutters were bit's of bar close to the desired size, with broken inserts brazed to it.

Articulated tooling. Less overhang th better also for more rigidity fill tubing with dowel. Always tricky with the end of the cut but just a visual check on the carbide holesaw. Versatile & U just make to suit .good idea
